You really should be thanking TSJ for blowing up FCV and making all those coaches and players available, and NE for landing them. |
VRSC put the squeeze on TSJ a few years ago. It’s no accident that rev bought the field, forced boys program out, forced fcv out and ultimately took the coaches and many of the players. Tsj dug their own grave by losing the facility. Hanson opening saved Tsj or now fcv but that’s only temporary as they won’t be able to compete. The game will come down to LS VDA and Rev. Recent changes to all mls next and ga in Loudoun are indicative of what the future holds. VRSC have always been one step ahead of the competition, but this could change quickly as we’ve seen. In regards to all the changes happening at the ncaa and pro levels, expect even more rapid changes in the future. |
no one has said a thing about HER. |
Coaches dont take nobody... you chaseeeeeeeeeee... lol |
Ok, thanks NE |
You did, Nancy. You specifically made it easy for everyone to figure out what family it was being discussed. YOUR righteous indignation outed them. Then you have the gall to tell everyone to leave them alone. Now then, what other people do you want to specifically describe then tell us all to leave them alone? |

His this whole thread basically a marketing campaign for VRSC? Scrimmages against ecnl clubs means they are just as good? Who believes this nonsense? |
Are you saying you don’t believe that VRSC GA and VDA ECNL girls teams scrimmage each other? Did you know that they head of VDA’s girls program and the head of VRSC’s GA program were, respectively, head of GA and technical director of FCV for 5+ years before they left for VDA and VRSC (causing FCV to blow up)? And that at FCV their GA teams regularly scrimmaged ECNL teams in MD and non-DMV VA? I actually don’t have first hand knowledge of VDA and VRSC scrimmaging each other this season, but it is quite plausible. |
Forgot to mention that the wife of VDA’s head of girls program is the college recruiting director at VRSC. Who believes this nonsense? |
Nobody is saying they believe they are just as good. Okay. Maybe some of the true believer zealot parents of VRSC think they are just as good. However, one way to look at it is scrimmaging against a team that is a little better than you is good for the team. Scrimmaging against a team that is a lot worse, or will blow your doors off every time doesn't usually do a whole lot for the team. |
You might call me a zealot, because I believe in the long-term vision at VRSC and their ability to execute against that vision because of the resources they have in place (first money, then a home complex, then quality coaches, and now national league platforms for both boys and girls). But I’ve been very clear in all of my posts that, as you would expect, they are still light years behind local ECNL teams in terms of talent. I agree with the PP about the lack of value in having teams at significantly different skill levels playing against each other. To me, this suggests at least some of the VRSC GA teams are somewhat better than I thought, otherwise BP would not scrimmage against them. |
VDA did scrimmage the VRSC teams in August. Games were at Raventek fields and are on VEO |
BP is a good coach but his hold on the talent won't last forever. Thee's already players leaving to come back to Loudoun teams. People will realize that he does not hold a monopoly on uaynt camps although he does do a good job trying to get exposure for the players. |
