Oh lord. No one outside of Loudoun county has heard of CC. Definitely no college coaches have heard of VRSC. Good luck with the recruitment.

Yes, nobody has heard of CC, lol. Certainly not Emily Fox or Alexis Theoret among MANY other players that have been in the USYNT system. Multiple National Championships. Probably over 200 players have gone to P4 schools under CC. Haters are going to hate.

Could be right. People always say BP > CC, nobody knows! BP is still working with VRSC behind the scenes, running scrims and calling out other clubs for being scared of playing local competition when he never scrimmaged any true local ECNL clubs while at FCV. Only played ones far enough to not create chatter lol.

This is fake news. FCV used to scrimmage local ECNL clubs, including Bethesda, regularly. Both sides kept these scrimmages quiet.

Bethesda, Pipeline, Richmond. Not VDA, NVA or Union? Again, not fake news, just the facts.

What's your point? Seems like a smart way to prep a team against good competition without generating the gibberish that gets posted here.

My point is he preaches one thing but isn't living fully up to what he's saying. What are the odds he scrimmages NVA next year because they're no longer in ECNL? He's only scrimmaging a club where his wife works and acts like other clubs are hiding from VDA, when in reality BP has always hidden himself and his teams to exposure if it's too risky. Hence why he's playing VRSC or clubs that nobody really talks about on here.

Funny, VRSC seems to be the small club that is most talked about on this board!

I love the fact that VRSC's GA teams are scrimmaging against VDA. Further evidence of the club's aspirations and efforts to achieve them.

Silver lining.

Alright, FCV parents, let’s take a step back and chill for a second. Chasing coaches to another club and getting your kids preferential treatment just because of some loyalty thing? Not cool. Honestly, Rev’s gonna do just fine with or without you. Like someone mentioned earlier, we’re all part of the same club. No need to create unnecessary drama or act like you’re above everyone else—especially when your kid’s skills aren’t all that impressive. Yep, I’m talking to you, FCV mom.

Chasing coaches? The coaches took those players with them. The coaches are great, but it was the combination of the coaches and a critical mass of FCV players following them that allowed VRSC to field competitive GA teams in the first season. Contrast the 07/06 VRSC GA team, which doesn’t have FCV players because they had already committed to their colleges and so stayed at FCV, and the other FCV teams, which had to build GA teams from their old GA2 teams (equivalent to VRSCs old black teams), all of which are performing at substantially lower levels. Withou those FCV players, VRSC would not be getting the results you’ve seen this season.

I don’t know what this poster is trying to achieve with his/her posts, but they’re nonsensical.

The legacy fcv girls are mostly the best players...VRSC players don't come close.. VDA blew up their program except for the 2008 team. After this year, there won't be incentive for the 2008 team to stay together.

The success in recruiting has very little to do what league you are in. Tophat gets almost every player recruited D1 and they are ga. They beat LS and VDa hands down every year

Tophat beats LS and VDA every year? What are you babbling on about?

Just a uniformed parent. Uses a single team as an example. If you want to go that way, VRSC (Top of GA Table) lost to Bethesda 2009s 2-0 (Bottom of NA ECNL Table) earlier this year. Not a good look.

I am a VRSC parent and even I know ECNL is better competition but I would rather my DD in an atmosphere she enjoys.

It’s not like 10 or 20 kids from each age in this area are going to go pro! Most of the top kids will only get partial scholarships even in ECNL. Most of the ECNL teams in our area aren’t really that good except VDA and a random year or two at other ECNL Clubs.

The VEO of that BSC vs. VRSC team shows that the win by BSC was a lucky win. Yes a Win is a Win but that was "Not a good look" win. Both goals scored in 1st half and early on in game then nothing in 2nd half. And one of the two goals scored was under pressure kick to kick and oh yay it went in. J/S

You really should be thanking TSJ for blowing up FCV and making all those coaches and players available, and NE for landing them.

VRSC put the squeeze on TSJ a few years ago. It’s no accident that rev bought the field, forced boys program out, forced fcv out and ultimately took the coaches and many of the players. Tsj dug their own grave by losing the facility. Hanson opening saved Tsj or now fcv but that’s only temporary as they won’t be able to compete. The game will come down to LS VDA and Rev. Recent changes to all mls next and ga in Loudoun are indicative of what the future holds. VRSC have always been one step ahead of the competition, but this could change quickly as we’ve seen. In regards to all the changes happening at the ncaa and pro levels, expect even more rapid changes in the future.

lol i know who youre talking about, his DD is going to nva next year

You people are talking about a child who has torn her ACL twice. How about you shut your mouths and leave that family alone regardless. I get the parent is a little overzealous but maybe have some empathy. Please move on from this subject/player/parent. Thanks.

I think it's fair to say you are the one who brought the kid into the discussion. Some of us may not have been completely sure who was being discussed. Are there any more kids you want to out then blame everyone else for your actions?

no one has said a thing about HER.
