+10000 Hence the Kartrashian and Jenner idiots, Ariana Grande and too many others to name here. It’s the trend du jour. |
Oh boy our white nationalist friend is back! As a POC I am wondering where my reward and promotion is?! The best I ever got is a law firm interviewer saying “Wow! You’re an immigrant!” and making me feel very uncomfortable and I did not get the job LOL. |
She was a yoga instructor. People on DCUM do have a skewed idea of what success is. Like, you're successful if you're married to an EXECUTIVE, but not Alec Baldwin? |
| I don’t know it was that she was an underachiever so much as she wanted to catch Alec’s attention and felt being a yoga instructor was not enough, definitely not compared to Kim Basinger and Salma Hayek. But whatever, she’s beautiful and kind and fit. Sad that she wasn’t secure enough in that. |
She’s your basic celebrity unhinged idiot. They’re all a little off their rocker. |
She's obviously problematic, but this take is also problematic. She's a yoga teacher. Is that being a huge under-achiever? I feel like society needs to value things other than just making money. That's pretty much how we in the US measure people's worth--by how much money they make. Being a yoga teacher and opening a studio is a worthwhile occupation. Sad that she feels the need to lie. |

She's a young millennial. Mass media has brainwashed and bullied her demo that being a beautiful white girl is 'basic' 'Becky' 'Karen' 'boring' 'dorky'. Media and society now promotes and rewards persons of color. She did it because it being a POC in 2010-2020 helped advance her life.
You're talking about a 36-year-old married mother of 5, not a 15-year-old girl trying to build a following on Tik Tok. And "helped advance her life"???? She was the daughter of a lawyer and a doctor who went to NYU after graduating from a $65,000 per year high school. Stop acting like she's a victim or was looking for a way out of poverty. She's the very definition of privilege. |
| She is someone who has identity diffusion and has no sense of who she really is. This likely comes from attachment issues. I find it interesting that no one has yet commented on the fact that her mother is an OB/GYN and she has had multiple children. It strikes me as a way to get her mother to take interest in her. It also happens to be something that she has found a way to monetize. |
What do you think of when you see a white Armenian/English/American valley girl like Kimberly Kardashian? How about look at before and after Kylie Jenner pics, Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea, Amber Rose? They are ALL appropriating another culture, all of them. |
DP. I agree it's a worthy profession, but as someone in these high-achieving circles (spouse and I are PhD/MD couple), there's a lot of pressure on the kids to have at least similar levels of achievement. I don't think it's right, but the pressure is there. I'm sure she's been asked in her younger life whether she was applying to medical or law school. |
| I feel like not enough ownership is being given to Alec. I don’t believe for a second he was duped. He met her parents before they married. Having a sexy Spanish wife was a sick status symbol to a control freak like him. He’s just as guilty for this charade. |

Hahaha!! No, I don't think anyone here believes being married to Alec Baldwin is success under any definition.

Can you refute anything in the PP. It's all factual. I'd bet you yourself traffic the racist cyber-bullying memes like 'Becky' and 'Karen'. Hillary didn't cook this up for no reason, you can't even claim she only did it to land Alec. She landed Alec in like 2010, she continued it ANOTHER 10 years. Why? To advance her career and make money. It worked. Why did it work? Because "media and society now promotes and rewards persons of color [over 'Beckies' and 'Karens']." |
