"I got the bill, I was looking at bill [and] I was like, 'Why does this receipt say 'fat girls?'" customer Christine Duran said. |

OP again.
I think that was pretty ballsy of the bartender and am guessing he's done this before and either wasn't caught or wasn't confronted. Would it have been that difficult to ask for a name or put the a different description, like "blond in red"? |
| Hilarious. |
| Just giving them a description. Not sure what the big deal is. |
| Yes, it's a description, but it's not necessarily a nice one. I've been in many establishments where I am the only white person and never has my receipt said "white chick" on it. It would have been an accurate discription but it has yet to happen. |
| I guess the douche doesn't want any more tips |
No, it's not. Theoretically, if they were thin, were friends with the server and had the kind of relationship to joke about weight, okay, it'd be hilarious. Since none of these things are true, it's just meanspirited and stupid. |
|
Jeff (the Jeff on the receipt, to be clear) is clearly not a rocket scientist. "Fat Girls"; Number of guests: 1??? Maybe his nametag should say Dumbass. Since he's so into descriptive labels and all.
What a jerk. |
|
Pencil dick.
Just a description. |
| I used to work at a bar where something similar happened. Can't remember the name the bartender used for the customers, but it was approximate to "Fat Girls." Idiot was fired on the spot. |
I really, really hope you're just trying to stir up controversy. In case you're not, I have to take the old, overused one-liner out of retirement (sorry DCUM veterans): Wow. Just wow. |
| I wonder if the owner knew about this. If not, he should sue him for destroying his business. |
| this happened recently in ny and the wait staff useda derogatory name for asians on the slip. it was in the ny papers. |
| Truth hurts, perhaps big boned would be better and more pc |
It's called firing the employee. |
