What do you wear to prevent panty line? I've tried those panties which claim to leave no panty lines, but this doesn't happen.
I'd love to hear your solutions!!! |
| Wear a thong. Sometimes they're more comfortable if you go up a size from what you normally wear, and the mesh-type fabric good too. |
| 2nd the thong -- i even wore them thru pregnancy (yep - they make maternity thongs!). try to find the ones with just the thinnest string of a thong to start. once you get used to it, you will never go back.... |
| Any options besides thongs? |
| Spanx. They go from your thigh to your breasts, they make your butt and tummy look great. No panty lines, and nothing in your crack. |
| I had an old boyfriend who called them "VPL" -- visible panty lines. He said lots of men thought they were really sexy. Sorry, no advice on how to get rid of them, though. |

Depending on the pants you wear, I think the thong just moves your panty lines from your lower buns up higher. You can still see the lines - up higher.
There are also undies that go from thigh to waist. |

I wear underwear with a boy shorts cut. I can't remember the name of the cut, exactly - but they are like little boy shorts.
Another option is to buy pants with a lining - they don't show the panty lines. And with the weather getting colder, the pants with lining are more comfortable. |
| I've alternately used the boy shorts pp mentioned and granny panties. Depends on the cut of the pants. In cool weather, I'll wear tights instead of trouser socks. |
| Another rec for boyshorts. Two other tips, try a larger size panty or looser fitting pants. |
| Go commando! |
| I'm in the thong category. I don't find there are any lines with those. I've tried the Spanx type things, but then the line is lower--where it hits on my thigh. I don't see it when I am standing up, but it appears when I sit down. |
| But I hate the way Spanx and other shapers give you uni-butt. Its hideous like a big ol' granny in a girdle.. |
| Sorry if this is TMI but ever since my first pregnancy thongs have been very uncomfortable for me - I'm talking about where the thin part goes...Anyone else have this issue? Do you know why? |

I'm a thong convert. Used to think they sounded very uncomfortable, adn some are (Victoria's secret).
Get an expensive thong -- Cossabella, On Gossamer -- sold at Nordstrom. YOu'll never go back to panties. To immediate PP -- I know what you mean about the thin part, and found that these brands fixed that. |
