There is? Who is Jesse? |
Cliffhanger? Robby riding off into the sunset, crashes, then an ambulance takes him back to the Pitt? |
I hope they don’t leave us with a cliffhanger this season, although they definitely seem to be foreshadowing something. I’m hoping it’s misdirection. |
Well you have unlocked a new fear for me as I watch this season. I agree the foreshadowing of something happening to Robby and the motorcycle is heavy. I really hope Noah Wylie doesn’t leave. I am so invested in these characters. |
Same! I think PP has predicted correctly! |
Almost too predictable. I really hope they don’t go this route. |
And Langdon being the one to save him. |
Agree that's too obvious. But maybe his friend is brought in, then he changes his mind about going on the motor(donor)cycle adventure? |
| I don’t like that Robby is holding a grudge against Landon. |
Disagree, I like it. It has only been one day. Robbie has high standards, so he can take a little time. In real life, could Landon even work in this environment again? Seems very risky. I would think he would lose his medical license, at least for a few years. |
When Carter came back to the ER after his rehab, he was welcomed with open arms. His friends stood by him. I don’t think it’s right that he treats Langdon like this in what is supposed to be a professional environment. |
| I think the actor playing Santos is overdoing it. She’s not the least bit likable or interesting |
I think she's arrogant and arrogance isn't a great trait in residents. She bothers me too. |
+1 As an addict in recovery, Langdon ought to expect that not everyone he screwed over is going to forgive him automagically. Nobody owes you a second chance to betray their trust. As the person in charge, it's perfectly appropriate for Robbie to be keeping him at arm's length, watching him closely, and treating him like "low man" because he lost any status he had when he broke the rules. Expecting anyone to just take him back in with open arms is naive af. He's getting a second chance, which is probably more than he deserves. He shouldn't expect warm fuzzies and coddling on top. He needs to be willing to earn back the trust and respect he previously threw away with his poor decisions. |
Older show, outdated take, and I'm not sure the circumstances were the same (been a long time since I saw the OG show). He probably got too many chances. That's not "professional", it's enabling. Wildly inappropriate in such a high-stakes setting. |
