Kane from Kaneshow divorcing and crying on air right now (PART TWO)

Some of these people saying we are "hating" (ok, maybe some are)... but I think most aren't... we can just tell something is off.

Anyone else remember back in early December, Kane was out off and on throughout the week. When he would come back on, he apologized profusely, saying things like "we are family and I should never leave you in the dark" and Danni would even say things like "you don't have to explain yourself" and he would say "of course I do, our listeners deserve more than that."

And every time anyone is out for any reason, they literally mention why every half hour so people are in the loop... Even when Rose was visiting her dying gpa (which didn't need to be explained in so much detail).

I guess I feel entitled to know what the heck is going on, but mostly because they have repeatedly made us feel like we deserve to know... And then for the show to cut to reruns in the middle of the morning, then no mention of where Danni is, then her posting stuff about writing a book and going to England or whatever for 5 days, drop something about disloyalty... It's kinda messed up.

I know she is going through a lot, and yeah, I'd agree at this point it seems like she probably got suspended for doing something she maybe shouldn't have, and maybe when/if she is coming back hasn't been decided... but regardless... to leave your audience that you call "family" completely in the dark is honestly just bad PR, especially after everything the show has gone through... I have been listening for 5 years and there has been quite a bit of drama. I am not just blaming Danni... I am blaming the show's executives and Kane.

I am not sure I can deal with another segment of either telling the truth on why someone left (like Mel) or hearing someone explain that they are leaving "to pursue other opportunities" and fairly obviously pretending that everything is ok and there were no hard feelings...

But IDK, then again, it is kinda like watching a train wreck...

Two all-news stations (WTOP and WAMU) are almost always first and second. The same for this month.

An interesting note as well is that Elliot in the Morning, which used to regularly be in the top 10, has trended downwards for several months and now is #17.

No, if I recall correctly, the last 30 minutes or so before...they were talking about giving out free sex toys to women and dinner reservation for guys on Valentine's Day. Then talked about what women really want for Valentine's Day.

After the commercial, they went to the Kane Scam, came back from that, and it was no hollywood dirt, etc, just repeat segments. The next day I think Erick mentioned that they had less toys to give out than they originally thought, but I really don't think a connection with missing sex toys can be made.

You guys always say the listeners are family but now you're gone and @kaneshow @internjohn and Rose haven't even mentioned you. I understand not giving the details but can't your "family" have some sort of explanation and when/if you're returning? This sucks. I couldn't even listen to the whole show today, it was too quiet and calm, you bring out the fun factor on the show Danni. I wish you luck, but damn....

Completely agree. I even noticed the hair removal commercials are only of Kane now and not Kane & Danni.

Whatever happened I have to assume it wasn't planned because a big deal was made on-air when Danni landed the TLCMe gig about how she wasn't leaving. Kane would even make comments about her becoming a famous celeb and leaving (jokingly) and she always shot that down saying no way.

Randi Sabo: See, I agree. Danni, you speak very much about being a public figure and express your devotion to your family, career 'family'(us listeners) and your many causes. We are asking such questions because of your vague posts. If it simply is a break in the show schedule then address it as so....or answer the various questions regarding the show suddenly cutting to a rerun....the disloyalty, etc. Danni is stringing along the accusations and assumptions ( .....which is her right to do)...but with that comes rumors & questions which is the listeners right to form without explanations. It's called being and putting yourself in the public eye. That's all. Nothing negative, rude or mean spirited about it. It's listeners simply inquiring.
