Yes, it appears from his own site he receives “full game film” from parents which is standard vs highlights.

He has ranked kids with zero IG presence so I actually respect the gig. The kid and parents are simply putting in the work which is very far from the IG thirsty mob I am accustomed to locally.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. But if you think he is watching full game film of all the age groups in the youth pool with his time you're crazy. There is no money in that. He posts highlight reels that either he makes because he is getting paid to do so or that parents send him, pre made. Period.

What most people don't know is that he keeps a database of the players that he knows (anyone that has contacted him whether they like it or not) and he in fact SELLS access to that database to agents and scouts. Find that on his website?? Yeah, definitely not. Because he doesn't want people to know that because they might not engage with him as freely. It's all very shady and to me is a real dark side of soccer in this country.

The reality is that there are very few people out here doing what he is doing. His problem is that he isnt credible in the soccer world. He is basically a guy that one day said I'm going to start blogging about soccer and the youth pool, and just did it and gained a following. He has built a few connections with clubs over time and for the clubs, dealing with him is a no brainer. He does work for them for free. Meaning talent id. They don't lose anything by dealing with him but they could genuinely gain something if a player works out.

To me, he promulgates a culture based on constantly trying to out hype the next person and this is killing the sport in this country in my opinion. Couple that with the fact that his analysis and rating of players is basically based on pure size because he doesn't have enough experience in the sport to really know how to identify a future pro This guy ranks players and has players that are playing professionally already listed as having less potential to be a pro (remember, they are already pros) than academy players that he clearly works with. His player rankings are literally a joke. Mostly manipulated lists from people that pay him with some familiar names thrown in for a facade of legitimacy.

Sites like his are a big reason why soccer is failing in this country. People who don't know sh#t about the sport acting like they do, and preying on even less knowledgeable parents for money. Sound familiar (pay to play clubs).

I appreciate the diatribe. But it all gets settled on the pitch right? If he is promoting kids who can’t play, and he refers a kid who paid him for promotion and the academy thinks the kid sucks, the academy will deem him unfit for future evaluations and his business would tank, no?

Isn’t that how a free market works?

No . His business wouldn't tank because the clubs want the volume. It's not always about quality it is also about quantity. In a soccer system that fundamentally doesn't understand the sport at a high level, you can easily see how low quality players get through. Especially when people with means are paying for them to get looks.

I'm lost and confused by this tangent to the dcu rejects trash talking the club because their kids aren't quality enough.

What kinda business does this guy have on social media and why would academies and parents of high quality players need him?

The goal
To get your son into the right academy that will give him the best chance to maximize his development as a soccer player.

Step 1: Assessment of level

I review 2-3 matches from this season to get a clear picture of what level your son is at and what level he is ready for. If I believe MLS academies will be interested, we will move forward.

Step 2: Academy criteria definition

We align on the criteria by which we will select a new academy. We will discuss:

Development: Is it more important that your son has the best chance to play or is it more important that he goes to the best development environment possible?

Housing: will the player be moving on his own or with the family? If on his own, is proximity to home a consideration?

Education: how important is the academy’s educational program?

Step 3: Academy target list

I create a short list of academies that I believe meet the criteria most effectively and prepare rationale for each. We align on what academies from that list we want to pursue and we can also add other clubs if you have thoughts

Step 4: Academy communication

I prepare a profile of your son including a 2-3 minute highlight video (you will provide), strengths and weaknesses (I will provide) and his basic information to our target list and provide contact details for your current academy director

Step 5: Trials

Each club that is interested will reach out to your club's academy director to express interest in your son and identify a good time for him to go on trial. The interested academies work with you and your club to schedule trials. Your son goes and trials with each academy to train and get to know the players, staff, facilities, etc. Trials are usually 3-5 days.

Step 6: Decision making

If you have multiple offers, we work together to make the right decision for your son. I will offer my objective advice on which environment will most effectively help your son reach his goals.

Cost

Soccer is already very inaccessible in the United States and I don’t want to add to that. My fee below is what I believe is fair market value for my services, but this cost is prohibitive for you, I am willing to help for whatever amount you can afford.

Desired fee: $xxxx

Payment Schedule

$xxx for the initial assessment review of 2-3x games to identify his current level, after this we decide together whether to move forward or not

If yes, $xxxx to complete the down payment to move forward

$xxxx if we successfully get your son into at least one trial, if we do not, I will not accept a final payment

Timing

Typically 2-3 months before you have signed with a new academy

A lot of people on here run their mouths and have no idea what they're talking about. Either they are trolling or worse, are clueless but think they are smart.

Nice free marketing

What is this individual's pedigree?

What is the highest levels of soccer he played and where and how long?

What are the highest levels of soccer he coached or trained and where and how long?

Where and how long was he at a sport/soccer agency? In what capacity?

Where and how long was he in the front office of a professional soccer organization and in what roles?

What licenses as a coach or agent of elite and professional level players does he have?

Thanks
