“ABLE is Moving Fashion Forward.

Look good and feel good in quality products that are thoughtfully designed and made by women around the globe who are empowered to create a better future for themselves and their families.”

Taken from able’s website. Jen says she supports them because they help women. She promoted the online counseling because we need good mental health support. Every single time Jen sells something it’s cloaked as her doing us favor. She presents herself as an expert on all things.
Even legacy collective is rooted in the idea she’s creating a giving community to support smaller charities, cause she’s a better conduit for donations than just sending them directly. She’ll only take 30% cut off the top for her help. It’s scam after scam built on the premise she’s trustworthy.

We have no way to know how many of her current followers were recruited during her earlier work. But even her totally non Christian followers tend to give her more credibility because of she was a pastor, Christian author of 12 books who spoke to thousands at huge Christian conferences. To pretend all that just vanished when she rejected biblical Christianity isn’t honest. Besides she wrote a lengthy thesis that her current beliefs are biblical and others are the ones misinterpreting the Bible. Recent posts go into great detail on her current version of Christianity. She’s not ditching the Jesus crew she’s just redefining what it looks like according to her.

And the Jesus she wants everyone to follow looks just like - HER. He’s her new hype man. He agrees with everything she thinks. He’s totally cool with (and even celebrates!) materialism/capitalism/consumerism, as long as the “right” person does it. She even thinks he might be a woman. And she’ll explain this all to you for the low, low price of $34.50! For a limited time!

Jen and Sarah Bessey are now wanting to charge her “tribe” $35 to learn how you too can “deconstruct” your faith.

It just feels so gross to me. Grifting on people’s faith.

Is Sarah B. that desperate for cash and relevancy??

Is there any part if her uncomfortable doing this?

^This exactly. No mention of Jesus for months and then, oh wait. I can use Jesus to make a buck? Well then, ME course it is!!!

I get it’s been 2 years but come on man you’re 50 and your kids see this weird man child behavior out of you. Not to mention the endless liquor pictures. He seems about 21 emotionally, based on what puts a high emphasis upon. (Hot chick, booze, motorcycles, muscle cars, bars, concerts, sports events, expensive: hats/boots, vacations &gifts) surprisingly superficial stuff for a former pastor. When I went there 2008-ish. Back when they were at the Akins Highschool and through the time at Jackie’s on Manchaca, he sort of slowly morphed into what he is today. He was slight- tall and thin-ish. Wispy goatee with our the stache. Hair short and thinning. He wore normal jeans with Chuck Taylors most days and a untucked long sleeve button down with the sleeves rolled up. Maybe had a tat or two if I recall. After communion when the band was playing the final tunes, and everyone is in deep reflection swaying to and fro, he’d kneel down by the stage and strike a pose on one knee, but his head down and pray as tho he was praying has hard as he could. He’d talk in great platitudes about how weird it was to go to a new church and ANC was just a place to welcome everyone, ya know? That’s how he’s end sentences, “ya know?” Whatever, I didn’t care. Somewhere, after several months @ Jackie’s he started talking more about the bikers and riding with them…. He started changing. More tats. Full beard. Buzz cut. More hats with flat brim pull way down low like an idiot. Boots and jeans that no real cowboy would ever wear. I always thought he was channeling Jesse James. Now it’s motorcycle club stuff, rings, wallet chain, cute little motorcycle gang vest thing. And inked up like crazy. Looks like he’s taken some roids or human growth hormones—- much thicker and bulkier than he was 10 years ago.

At the risk of “killing the vibe”, it sure does read as though someone asked and answered their own question. Trying to steer the convo off Jen. It only takes one person. Yes, Brandon is shallow and a made over nerd…but he’s not Jen and really, your post is super weird. Start a new thread or something dude.

Someone asked the question, sugar, and I answered it from my POV. I didn’t ask and then answer my own question. Not trying to steer any convo off Jen. To me they’re a package deal to a great extent. Neither would be where they are without the other. And, BTW, you are killing the vibe and, actually, your post is super weird. Why don’t you start and new thread, dude. What a lame weirdo. I bet your kids love you being around when they’re with their friends. You’re like the lame mom who is always worried about the sh*t that doesn’t matter, and your kiddos cringe when you’re around their friends. Lighten up, Francis.

Even weirder. You weirdo.

Good one. Very original.

Shall I go into detail about how your kids cringe when you are around their friends? That seems like it came from a place deep inside you. Project much? Seek help.

Ha! No, not at all. Just have observed a lot of smothers and helicopter parents and you seem to fit the classic definition. Blessings.

That’s hilarious. Cause you know literally nothing about me other than me calling you post out as weird. Lololol

Exactly, you called out my post and that you thought I asked and answered my on post, which is not the case. Have your opinion that it’s weird; I don’t care. I just made the point that you’re a smother whose kids cringe when you try to be the cool mom in front of their friends. What ever, bro. I think it’s hilarious. Bless your heart, hon.

Like I said Jen is far from done with the Jesus crew. For $35 you can hear how she’s wrangled with her faith and came to her current convictions. She sells the idea this me course is a safe place for the disenfranchised to come and be enlightened. Do you think she’s in the early stages of creating a new kind of para-Christian cult? One where she’s the arbiter of this higher truth?

The difference is that Brandon isn’t swindling people. No one is calling him a saint, but it’s hard to have the disdain for him that people do for Jen when she’s the one actively deceiving others.

HE CHEATED ON HIS WIFE FOR AT LEAST FOUR YEARS. Now he's schilling real estate. My God.

I was grateful you answered my question about Brandon. You and others have helped me get my bearings with all the crazy making double speak Jen engages in. Those of you who knew them in real life are a priceless gift cause y’all confirm our suspicions.
As for our thread’s resident troll I think it’s a guy, someone connected to the Hatmakers who uses a spirit of intimidation to try to shut down this thread with pointless aggressive attacks. Particularly when anyone speaks truth. I guess we should take it as a compliment when he goes on the attack, it’s not gonna work. Truth prevails.

He may have cheated his wife, but he’s not currently trying to cheat the masses.

Can the two boobs who keep replying to each other’s insults like middle schoolers please exchange Mincraft Gametags and take the argument there where it belongs?!?! Thanks a bunch!

So, I don’t think Jen thinks into the future enough to be focused on creating a cult. I honestly think she’s just always looking for an opportunity to exploit people. I mean HELP people! And since she sees herself as a spiritual leader and also knows lots of people have crisis of faith experiences, she figures why not take advantage? She’s a self described expert in a lot of things, and she always manages to monetize those things. This latest one feels no different to me.

Except. We literally have no idea if this is a fact. None!

Is Sarah B. that desperate for cash and relevancy?

Maybe, because her books are just meandering half-thoughts with absolutely no point.
Out of the internet friend group, Tara Livesay is the least annoying. Howerton also exaggerated things to drive traffic to her site. Jamie W is a mess and Sarah G's faith seems to be following Jen's, with her seeming to affirm a queer/trans wannabe daughter.
It's so sad.

To be clear, selling real estate in and of itself is not schilling. Sales people engage in commerce, we make the world go round, and is a noble profession. A shill— A person engaged in covert advertising. The shill attempts to spread buzz by personally endorsing the product in public forums with the pretense of sincerity, when in fact he is being paid for his services. Clearly Jenn fits this definition. Brandon could be, but not all sales people are shills. Just want to make that distinction. I’m in sales and like to think I’m sincere about the value I provide clients and I, and most sales professionals I know, act in an ethical and professional manner. Not all of course, like any profession that are gross and dishonest sales reps.
