So they were both CBP, not ICE. This is relevant because CBP is a much more military like organization with military like training.

This is also very relevant to the funding and some of the issues senators are raising especially with regard to "roving patrols." CBP can conduct "roving patrols" near the border where they can stop vehicles if they have "reasonable suspicion" of an immigration violation. In 2026.

KEY INFO: The border is defined as within 100 miles of the border. This zone covers two-thirds of the US!!!

Also, not that it matters because they are both doing whatever they feel like with no accountability but if they do not have a warrant, ICE is technically not supposed to arrest a random person while CBP is allowed to if they try to flee. So all they have to do is say that someone is trying to flee ... hence ALL THE LIES. The think they have carte blanche.
