I just found out a ticket to our local movie theater is 22 dollars. For one person. But there’s no inflation. If you made minimum wage you would have to work for three hours to go to the movies. By yourself. Didn’t poor people used to go to the movies during World War Two for like ten cents? This is crazy!!

That used to be a big deal. It still is, but less so.

Much of our public and private pensions, retirement funds, mortgage backed securites, social security holdings and educational securities (derivatives) are held in treasuries. I predict when this house of cards collapses and the dominos fall, everyone will be impoverished in three days. You won't be able to blame D or R on that.
