| I want fried chicken for my birthday. I've been craving it for about 2 years. We live in Alexandria, so would prefer NoVa or DC. |
| I'd go to my kitchen. |
| Popeye's |
| Yep, Popeyes |
| Me too, everybody loves my chicken. When my friends of church have gatherings everyone asks for my chicken. |
| pollo campero. Much better than Popeyes. DEEEEELICIOUS. |
I figured this thread would turn the Popeyes etc. route. I would be all for it, but they don't serve alcohol!
|
| Popeye's om nom nom |

I went through a crazy fried chicken phase during my last pregnancy. I posted. On here about it and got some decent suggestions.
For soul food style: the hitching post in NE. It was good, but lacked seasoning. Something different: Bon Chon Korean fried chicken. Amazing. Simply amazing. You must go to the one in Annandale, not Falls Church. Someone suggested one of the higher restaurants downtown, but I can't remember which. I didn't try it but I researched it and it seemed great. I think it came served in a bucket or something. Was it PS7's? And if all else fails, Popeyes is still pretty damn good. |
| Popeyes. Hands down the best. |
| 19:16 sorry for all the typos. Do a search on here. You are not the first person on a quest for great fried chicken. |
|
Central, if you're looking for a nice place and one that serves alcohol.
Bon Chon is really good! Popeye's too...even Tom Sietsema loves it. (Not that it matters, but that's not a place you would normally go.) |

You haven't had fried chicken in 2 years?? I know it's not healthy, but that's some discipline.
Oh and I'd go to Popeyes. |
| Pick up some Popeyes and bring it home. All the booze you want. |
