I don't know if it's still open, but Georgia Brown's in DC had excellent fried chicken. There's a brewry in Falls Church that has fried chicken on Wednesdays. It's called Mad Fox.

I was going to suggest Georgia Brown's also. Amazing brunch - order the fried chicken and ask them to box it for you immediately, bc the all you can eat brunch buffet that comes with it is so much food, and then you can have the chicken for yummy dinner.
