So few showed up and we have lots of good stuff to give out. We were generous last year with assorted candy so I don't think it's because we don't have good treats. We aren't an ideal location so we have never gotten the number of ToTers we had at our old condo. Really hoping more show up because they will hit the jackpot and get handfuls! Did many come to your house? |
yes...I got a lot of candy and still was out before 7:30 pm.
We had carloads of Hispanic children dropped in our neighborhood, which was annoying since they very clearly don't live here and were rude to boot.
We got way more than last year. I think everyone has cabin fever!
Send them my way! I've got plenty! (OP here) to share with any kid willing to take it. DH will bring to work, but more fun to give kids. |
Lots! So many that we ran out of candy and had to go into the kid's individually wrapped gummy stash. We live downtown in Truxton Circle. Got lots of candy too. So much that the bag was too heavy for 5 yr old DS to carry by the time we got home.
Hardly any! After only three groups in an hour, I started handing candy out by the handful and just dumped the remaining candy in the bags of the last two stragglers who came by at 9pm. Bummer because we love Halloween!
We got a good number but definitely less than last year. We did run out of candy by 7:30, though.
We're in Brightwood and had a ton.
We never get any (we're in an apartment). Which is kind of a bummer.
we had none last year and about 70+ this year. Ran out of candy so had to give away some of my kids' stash.
+1. OP of this comment you sound like a real treat! |
100s. It was pretty nuts. We are in Silver Spring in the Forest Glen area.
No one. But we live on a cul de sac, kind of out of the way.
We only had about 150 or so here in Bethesds. Last year we had over 300. Are now stuck with so much extra candy that I'll donate. Last year we had the day after off which may have been why more kids came out.
