2024 Election Results

I recall now the following: in the weeks leading up to Biden withdrawing from the race, nobody wanted Kamala to replace him. After miraculously she was the only one afterwards, all other serious contenders were thought to not want to join her on the ticket, because everyone expected her to lose.

So now it happened just as expected then. It's just that in the meantime we forgot it momentarily amidst all the "joy" and "black girl magic".

Baldwin just won.

Well, at least my state didn't completely fail us. Plus, a good number of the state legislature seats in WI flipped. That's a bright spot I guess.

Your state, and PA and MI absolutely failed humanity today.

So did black and Latino men.

And women! Lots of women. Trump couldn’t have won without the women who voted for him whereas he still could’ve won even if not a single black or Latino man voted for him.

Tell me why Harris can marry a white man, but a black man can not vote for Trump.

I was wondering, is this the first time someone we knew had dementia won an election? I know Reagan did but we didn’t know at the time. Joe is obviously not functioning great either, but he seemed relatively ok during the last election. I’m just asking about the dementia, not the mental illness part.

This angle won't work. Think another way. You're spinning your wheels.

There’s no angle, it’s just a question. Disabilities usually reduce a person’s chance of winning an election, but it didn’t in this case. I thought it was kind of interesting since campaigns have been torpedoed for much less.

+1

Not going to work.

You obviously haven't cared for anyone with dementia because it looks like Biden. Vacant and childlike. Remember when Biden was proudly showing the white house doc that he had cleaned his plate? Remember him complaining that Jill wouldn't let him talk? Wandering off and having to be led around by the elbow?
Trump is your eccentric crank uncle who has lost his filter. Not the same as dementia.

Trump spoke at length at 3AM after relentless campaigning.

Who do you think the pp meant by "Joe"?

So you're using an interview with a guy who endorsed him as evidence?

I would say go watch Trump's two debates from this year. In the first he was lucid, but only compared to Biden (a very low bar). But in the second he doubled down on the pets being eaten, refused to acknowledge that he lost in 2020 and blamed January 6 on Nancy Pelosi.
