Isn't that correct then? The team they were on when player made the college commitment. I don't see why it matters how long they spent with that club. Clearly there was some reason they changed clubs and the end results is a college commitment so it worked out, right?

The endless rationalizations. Oh my God are you people totally dishonest with yourselves and probably everybody else.

Why does it bother you so? Imagine walking away from a club with just one fall season to go. How bad was that relationship?

Because I despise intellectual dishonesty, and it’s a shame others don’t. That’s why.

Why are you keeping score of commitments? Do clubs get transfer fees to colleges?

Find something else to worry about and support the kids who had a great accomplishment.

Seems the problem is yours. No one else cares about this. Let it go, man

This. It is a kid’s accomplishment. Clubs need to step back.

Would you give credit to a high school if one of their students got into Harvard or would you give credit to the parents who have been setting the kid up to succeed since an early age... Or the kid?

I think one should giver credit where it's due - in the case of Harvard entry these days I believe that's usually a guy named William Singer.

I think their preschool would deserve most of the credit

Would you go to a school where multiple kids get accepted to Ivy’s or would you go to a school wanting Ivy’s but most kids go to JMU?

It is all synergistic.

Total and utter nonsense. You are out of your depth. First, I would exclude advice from anybody using “ivy’s” instead of Ivies. Second, I would dismiss anybody who thinks the school itself is getting the admissions for their kids - they are fools. Third, I would ignore anybody who clearly misuses words like “synergistic,” though in PPs case, it looks like stupidity, foolishness and malapropisms have a synergistic effect. You clearly have not been to top schools or work with top professionals. Stop talking nonsense.

You may despise intellectual dishonesty. But if so, then you are a flaming hypocrite since you yourselfare the epitome of intellectual dishonesty.

What on earth are you babbling about? Your point is that if I despise intellectual dishonesty, I am a hypocrite because I am the epitome of it? Huh? What statement of mine reflected intellectual dishonesty? The fact that I object to people claiming credit for things to which they contributed little or nothing? How do you actually go through life not objecting to that?
