So why have ECNL teams that are U13-14? Why not do what DCU and MLS academies are doing by going to U15 up? |
|
| Nothing matters until after puberty. When everything evens outs. I consider U17 the tried and true age group. The big, the strong, and the powerful, get equalized. |
Loudoun doesn’t like talking about coaching and results above their 07 girls team.... might want to ask yourself why. Last year’s david ecnl coach demoted to red this year because of their 0 wins and horrible work is back on ECNL roster. Revolving doors and cushy jobs. |
Not having a national platform is why their older teams suffered. They all left years ago. Don’t need to ask myself questions like that. Now they do....and FCV doesn’t. |
If the mls academies wanted to set something up similar to the boys with subsidized players fees and access to a professional development program, everyone would be saying ecnl is dead and this is the new elite. But the mls clubs and us soccer decided to focus only on the boys side. Ecnl came in and filled that gap. |
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ the almighty dollar to br made. A fool and his money will so be parted... |
Yeah, that’s what I assumed. Seems pretty silly to me as well. |
|
Remember when everybody was saying 'Arlington is gonna get ECNL' and FCV was like 'We're gonna get back into ECNL' and then they totally didn't get back in?
lol good times |
No. Don’t remember things like that. What graduate schools did you get into? |
The pro academies know that they’ll get the good boy ECNL players in time. They’d rather let the clubs do their thing and then pick the boys after they gone through much of their growth spurt. Boys ECNL is not much more than the largest MLS feeder league. |
Such a Ashburn thing to say. |
They’re picking boys up before ECNL and growth spurts...you must not have boys that play. |
I don’t get it. When I think of ashburn I think of a suburb of West Virginia with rows and rows of townhomes as far as the eye can see. Good living! |
Such a Arlington transplant from the NE thing to say. |
