If I were MU, I would cut my loses and pull out of DC. There is just no need for them in this market, especially when they don't offer anything unique. FCV has a trackrecord of delivering elite players and teams. Arlington has a large pool pf players from which to draw. MU has noting. I hope players and parents are taking advantage of this time to pursue opportunities.

Nah. If they didn’t take Arlington girls when they took Arlington boys they sure won’t take MU. Or if they do, it’s because Mclean and BRYC wanted a club they could beat up on in the ECNL MA division, instead of one that would beat them.

Let’s take the 05 girls. McLean would win by about 3 goals. I know two of the MU starters. The wouldn’t even make the McLean team. You’re truly clueless.

Will Metro be relevant if the keep losing like they did in DA?

Will Metro go under if they can't field a team? How did Metro even get into GA can't any club just sign up to GA?
If Stoddard, Potomac, and Great falls leave Metro from the partnership will Metro have no pipeline?

Haha!! All the top players are leaving the MU 05 team. It is not a good look for a club to lose the best players from their only competitive team.

Truth is I heard they picked anyone for the 08 and 07 group.
EXPECT Metro to be kicked out of GA

DD has played A Metro team last year it consisted of girls who were small and big. They has girls who were clearly playing up so I felt the need to criticize the club for allowing that. Now is the club terrible? Maybe not
They were bottom of the age let's see if this season they have girls that are the same age for DC to play against.

Is this the sentiment that Metro parents or coaches feel about criticism? This criticism seems fair even though poorly communicated by PP. It doesn't mean there ins't a valid reason for what PP saw, just means PP saw what he saw.

The point is there is no need to criticize a team of 13 year old's period. THEY WERE ALL CRITICIZED COLLECTIVELY. If you win a game, be an adult and move on. Criticizing a team of kids who lost a soccer game is punching down. Please tell me the necessity of criticizing a youth soccer team at all, under any circumstance much less anonymously.

And then on top of it hiding behind anonymity while accusing people of being "overly sensitive" about it all.

Exactly what makes criticizing a youth soccer team online a necessity?

What fascinates me is that this team he’s criticizing was made up of a good number of kids who were not as old as his DD. He said it himself. Does that mean the “small” kids were not good players? No. It means that if they had a team at their age, they would be fine on that team. It’s much harder when you are playing against older kids. Does it mean the at age, “big” kids were bad players? No, it means that it’s harder to play against an at age team with a full bench when many of your teammates are at a age and maturity disadvantage. Does it mean the club wanted to play that particular team that way? No, it means that they were picking up the pieces from the disaster the Spirit left behind when they foreshadowed USSF a year later by pulling out at the last minute.

Sure, anyone can make cracks, but the reality is that everyone made the best they could out of the crappy hand that was dealt last year. How did the club respond? They strengthened their partnerships and got more players into camp and onto the teams. This upcoming year all the younger teams should have enough players that are at age, which should put them in a better situation than they were against his DD. No reason to make such cracks when you have no idea of the history or what has changed.

Once again, not the same poster. Sorry to disappoint. I want Metro to do well, the coaches (not just Metro’s) are not good at social media, especially videos, they need to outsource video editing for the important ones.
