Meghan Markle looks like she's having twins

I think her bump is fake and I agree she should have just been open about using a surrogate. But who knows why they didn't? I wouldn't be shocked one bit if the traditionalist RF weren't a fan of making public that a child who might (low odds, but possible) inherit the throne one day was carried by a surrogate. Or maybe this was MM's idea, or maybe both. Maybe MM regrets this but it's too late now? Who knows. I think it would have been a great public platform for surrogacy if she had been upfront about it. A lot of women are having babies later and facing fertility issues.

The only thing I found was footage of her visiting some Mayhew pet center. A LOT of bending and reaching down. That I wouldn’t have been able to do.

People who haven’t been pregnant think you can smush it. But it’s HARD. Especially the thinner you are where you have little body fat. It doesn’t make room for your bending at will.

It’s questioanble... not definitive. But again I’ll say I could not bend that well at her size and stage.

MM already talked about having a home birth. She's in her late 30s and this is her first and you're going to have that baby at home - are you seriously going to risk not being able to have an emergency CS quickly? It's just another little hint.

I don’t mind that she’d potentially use a surrogate. Or that she would hide it.

It’s funny to think about them faking it but he last thing I am is *offended.* or feel like she’s pulling a fast one. If it’s private it’s private.

If you say so, Matilda.

Frankly, I don't give a damn. Not my circus. I'm just watching curiously to see how it plays out.

Every pregnancy is different and every woman handles pregnancy differently.

That being said, Megan Markle is not pregnant. From the beginning I had a weird feeling about the whole thing because as soon as the announcement came out (at/right around Eugenie’s Wedding??!!!) she started showing off that belly, and I remember thinking that it was big for how far she was and looked strangely perked and high. For a first time mom who’s also fit with a strong core, as Megan is being a yoga buff, it’s strange that it would “pop” that early. And then of course the thing grew extremely large in an extremely short period of time, almost seemingly overnight. Additionally, it was ridiculously high, and she kept holding it in that weird way, like it was going to fall off <—people were criticizing her for cradling that bump like a lunatic but I think she was acting weird because it was a weird situation! She had that bump to keep up and keep straight. Then she started wearing the super tight outfits which I really think is in part because she thinks it will help keep the fake bump in place. Then of course came the photos of the bump being folded and squashed as she moved and that was the end of that.

I was ambivalent about her when she appeared on the scene but now I really find myself disliking this woman.

Golf claps for the troll!

Seriously, where do you get that I’m a troll?

Oh and just to add - MM wants to do a home delivery too. A geriatric, first time pregnancy delivered at home. I don’t care how wealthy and connected they are - without immediate access to an OR, that is risky. Too many weird things all at once. Fake pregnancy.

I believe that in England it's pretty normal to have a baby at home with a midwife. Just because she's older, it's not necessarily a risky pregnancy. But, surprising that the royals would allow that.

^^ffs that's absurd. someone needs to write a think-piece on the conspiracy theories about high-profile women faking their pregnancies. what cultural undercurrents promote this weirdness? Is it the idea that women like Beyonce and MM can't be both beautiful and high-powered WOC and pregnant in their mid-30s?

In all seriousness I can no longer find a video of that moment pictured.
Here is the most full video I can find: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pdqWeGlshRQ

I thought it was on there last night, because she’s sitting and talking with the ladies and then bends down.

Seriously. People are saying it's a fake bump because she's bending over, or squatting? Wasn't she a big yogi? Makes sense she can still do this stuff during her pregnancy at this point.

When I was pregnant, I was super active. I didn't gain much weight, and never had the pregnancy waddle. I was hiking through canyons after 40 weeks. I guess I would be a candidate for "fake bump" targeting, lol.

We have some weird people on dcum: especially the royal crowd. Yes, some people can easily bend and move around at 6 months. I had another child and a dog when I was pregnant with my second and I was always bending over. Also, depending where the baby is, your stomach can be all sorts of weird shapes. It used to freak my DH out.

Find the video of the moment pictured above, and we’ll talk.
