Maybe once upon a time but no longer. U. of Chicago isn't even listed here among top ten public and private universities in USA. There are many universities in the US, I don't care for or think highly of. I don't spend any time criticizing them because what's the point. Now if on the other hand I was intensely jealous or pissed off with a University for some reason then I would spend a lot of time criticizing it.

I think ROI is really kid- and family-specific, so even if I were into this mode of college selection, I wouldn’t see these lists as helpful.
