So I ended up finding it, around 27 minutes in, and it just sounded like she was getting upset because she was getting a lot of backlash from listeners texting in and slut shaming her. I mean IJ did give her grief about what date she slept with guys at, but I don't think that was the only reason for her tearing up. However, if you're going to talk about that live with a ton of people listening, you need to be ready for that kind of backlash. It was awkward though, she needs to build up more of a back bone.

Agreed. I don't think it was John. It was more apparent that it was listeners texted in that made her upset.

John was definitely laughing at her and Kane awkwardly tried to "scold" him. But I do agree she needs to get some tougher skin if she is going to publicly talk about that on a radio show/be a public figure.

I felt the same way listening to it this morning. I feel like Kane probably asked her what was going on in her life that they could talk about on the show. Because she's as boring as they come, the best she could do was saying how she can't find a boyfriend because guys are too emotional. It was painful to listen to. It felt so contrived. I know Sarah is never coming back on the show, but she has got the best stories! She's actually interesting and brings some substance to the table. Even if some of her stories on the Kane show were fake, she's just great for that industry.

I know most of you don't buy into the whole conspiracy of Kane purposely playing songs to send Danni a message. But, I couldn't help but notice that today they played the Taylor Swift song, "we are never getting back together". That's a pretty old song to just pop up in rotation today. I really think that song was played to send Danni a message especially in light of all of her recent comments of wanting, almost desperately, to come back to the show.

Danni was loud and brash but at least she could back up her opinions and brush off criticism (mostly, lol). Rose is just not cut out for it. It's like she tries to be interesting and risqué but can't deal with the consequences. Guess what? Having sex with someone within a week or 2 of dating (which she implied she has done) and then mocking him for getting emotionally attached after sleeping together is kiiiiinda slutty. Don't bring the topic up if you can't take criticism.

What the show really needs is a Danni-Ross hybrid... Someone who is enough of a doormat to take Kane/IJ's shit but also has enough personality to draw in listeners. It's a difficult combination to find.

Rose is crazy, lets face it. She not innocent, she's not a little sister. I knew this from the beginning that she "dates" around. Not that I have a problem with that but it was really weird every time Kane called her innocent. I noticed he doesn't do that anymore.

Rose said that she either dates not emotional guys or too emotional guys, and she's done with that.

She also goes on the say you can "have some fun (aka having sex) without becoming emotional".

Newsflash Rose: Sex is an emotional thing usually, people catch feelings, its normal. if you wanted one night stands go ahead and have them. That won't get you a boyfriend.

I also agreed with IJ with when a girl says she wants to take it slow and there having sex in a week, its not taking it slow at all. You can tell Rose has done this many times from the way she defended that.

She definitely shed some tears and changed it to talking about guys being too needy and not talking about sex.

Also all the guys you date have only married friends and that's why they want to rush/are needy???? How old are the people you are dating? No guy goes "hmm my friends are married, let me become emotional and get into marriage". They might have that goal when dating someone but I don't see that as a problem? Of course you want the person your dating to have the potential to grow into something more. If you don't see a future with your significant others, what's the point?

On one of Sarah's podcast episodes, she described how the producer of STM would tell them their "roles". Like how Mel was the "fun, party girl, looking for a good time" and Ty was the "voice of reason". I think they (Kane show) has their roles, as defined by Kane, hence the "family dynamic".
That's why Rose is being defined as the "sweet, innocent little sister" of the group, even though she doesn't fit that at all.
