Guess you like taking the bait .

There's no anger. I don't even know the guy. However, I do "know" gossipy losers who have nothing better to do than try to wreak havoc in other people's lives--because they have no lives of their own. Now that's an angry person.

Live and let live. If he was such a danger at Sacred Heart, I'm sure firing would've been the least of his issues.

Let someone try to slander your professional reputation online (in the community that you belong to) and I'm sure you'd want someone to defend you as well. Especially when it's clear the person's a blowhard who's 'got nuthin'.

And yes I looooove taking the bait. You're too easy.

I knew you were a moron.

YAWN.

In other news, any relevant principal announcements? Since we've determined the Mola basher's a nut?

Anonymous wrote:There's a college called "Trinity University" in DC? What? I've never heard of it!

Nancy Pelosi went there.

It's across the street from Catholic.

It's an all women's (at the undergraduate level) liberal arts college that accepts males at the graduate level. I received my masters degree from there and teach there now post DCPS.

Looks impressive: http://www.standingovationfordcteachers.org/2013award-winners/abdullah-zaki/

Good for Dunbar, not so much for Kelly Miller...

Zaki is the the truth. He did some amazing things at Kelly Miller and was able to partner with others to really build their programming.

Sounds awesome! Just what a Dunbar needs.

Sacred heart community was devastated when he was let go. It was over something very petty and had nothing to do with his capabilities as a principal. Bancroft lucked out getting him!

Anonymous wrote:They can be fired after one year. So can a teacher if they are "ineffective". However, I'm not aware of an examples of 1 year principals who were fired rather than left for their own reasons.

Some principals have been offered 3-year contracts...thanks to their CSO.

Peabody/Watkins - Elena Bell

Former smothers teacher here. What do we know about Felicia Owo? I really hope she is good/strong leader.

Owo's resume from LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/pub/felicia-owo/9/895/223

Is it usual for a DCPS principal to be so young? Graduating college in 2008 makes her what, 29?

Being an assistant principal is what made her now a principal at DCPS school. Age has nothing to do with it.

Well, she quit after spring break and left the kids and the school hanging. SO maybe age DOES have something to do with it...

Who quit?

Good for her, I hope the school gets a replacement that's just as amazing as she was. The Eastern parents that I know really loved her.

Do we have a list yet for this year's changes?

Miner principal is stepping down for health reasons; had been on leave since circa March, but just made it official for next year.
