| Vanderbilt is not a peer of Emory. It has no funky community college thing going on, doesn't admit 2/3rds of the class ED, has higher SATs, and never cheated and tried to game the rankings by lying about admission data. |
| Because of AI and grade inflation, GPA and top decile doesn't mean what it used to. Most colleges dont even look at rank anymore, its meaningless. |
Vanderbilt says Emory is their peer and vice versa, but good luck to your mental illness. Also Vandy’s test scores are about 10 points higher, and they have around a 25% transfer acceptance rate, compared to Emory's 15%. |
Baddies? |
| So Emory ( ranked 24) is peers with Tulane ( ranked 67) but not Vanderbilt ( ranked 18). Was your DC rejected from Emory pp? Or were you rejected years ago? |
Stop. Emory has a junior college. It is not close to the prestige of Vanderbilt. |
No, you're pulling things out of your ass. You're opinion is worse than the smelly things that come out of it. And there's nothing wrong with a junior college when its just as selective as the other college. |

They're mentally ill, some schools make some DCUMers feral, Emory is one, UVa another, Chicago another. Emory is a T25 fixture. No one cares about the opinions here. |
+1 |
There is a lot of UMC/UC talent at Wake. I'd imagine the same goes for the other schools (Except Emory, I don't know, seems like a nerd school but I'm speaking out of ignorance). |
| Hmm, well I didn’t marry a classmate. I actually found the majority of males obnoxious and/or immature. That said, I did have a group of male friends who were genuinely good guys who I am still friends with today. |
I would pay for Chicago, Wash U, Vandy. (I have one at Ivy and 2 yet to apply.) The lowest ranked private we would pay for is USC. Maybe BC, if DC wanted to go finance. We are full pay. |
nice try but you cant even use the right test scores. enrolled emory stats are here: https://provost.emory.edu/planning-administration/data/factbook/admissions.html 25th and 75th percentile is 1460 to 1550 |
