Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart

You must be looking at sophomore year, which does have 4 free periods in an 8 day block schedule. Also, it isn't 10 minutes to eat. It takes that much time to stand in line to get your food. Maybe your daughter brings her lunch and doesnt have anything else to do during lunch.

DD is going to SR 9th and her Twin to GP. Will there be a fresh fest again? Is it an annual thing or was it just for class of 2028?

I believe it is yearly and takes place either at SR or Prep.

So I'm just asking so I can get a clear view on the atmosphere of her grade, the school, and the high school in general from a more recent standpoint.

If your daughter is on the quieter side she is most likely to get bullied out of there because bullying in the class of 2029 is very grand. I have a daughter there who is "smart" and there are many girls who either bully her or repeatedly ask her to do their homework and make them cheat sheets for test. She is basically cut out from her peers socially other than that.

You mean 2028 right? There is a mother/daughter duo in 2028 that is involved in heavy bullying.

Think they meant 2029.

No they meant 2029. Later replies by the person confirm it.

DP. I am unaware of 2029 but I am certain the stories I am familiar with are in 2028.

I believe it’s an annual year event.

PP with the daughter who is bullied here. My daughter IS in 2029 and it's not a typo. I would've added some sort of reply shortly after if it was. Sucks to hear about bullying in other grades though.....

Gosh I hope students don't use AI. One of the reason we applied here is because it's one of the schools where I haven't heard of excessive AI use/Cheating.

NP. 2029 grade is not…uh, the best. Mental bullying and cattiness. And that grade has at least a couple of moms that are miserable

Maybe a group of new families will help change this dynamic.

I heard that this year the would be valedictorian ended up losing that spot due to using AI to cheat. So it isn't tolerated at SR.
