30s is not that young though. She should be outgrowing all night partying soon. |
It appears you are grossly overestimating how much not A list actors get paid per episode. |
You act like he hasn't worked since Leftovers when he's actually worked a lot. |
No, I don't think I am. A nobody in an ensemble show will make 20k an episode on a streaming show. Theroux is not a nobody. A-listers on hit shows can make 200k or more. I estimated 60k, for shows where he is in a lead role. That's conservative. |
Yes, and you know he loses about 50% of that after taxes and management fees, right? |
Also, he's only had one lead role post-Leftovers, in an unsuccessful show. During which time he dated the teen who played his daughter (ewww). |
| He is gross. Such a downgrade from Brad Pitt. |
Narcissists can be very charismatic and charming. Jen A has fallen for this more than once. |
You have way too many zeros in your estimates. TV shows follow equity rules. https://www.nycastings.com/actor-pay-a-guide-to-compensation-in-the-entertainment-industry/ |

| The weather looked just awful for their wedding photos. |
| No one would be talking about either of these actors without the Jennifer Aniston connection. There wouldn't be a single post, much less 19 pages of them, based on their own celebrity. |
Justin Theroux does not make union minimum, sorry. These are ranges for what an actor with no celebrity whatsoever can expect for a guest role on Law & Order, or their very first recurring TV role. He's not some huge A-list actor, correct. But he makes more than union minimum. He's a recognizable face and name with a long track record. He also has big budget writing credits -- Tropic Thunder, Iron Man 2, Zoolander 2. Some of these will carry residuals, as will his work in David Lynch movies early in his career, stuff like the Girl on the Train (the sort of movie that gets second life on basic cable). Theroux is a celebrity. He's not George Clooney, he's not making Brad Pitt money. But he's not string together 3k per episode acting gigs to pay a mortgage. Unless he has a serious drug or gambling or spending problem, he has millions. Definitely over 10 million. Maybe considerably over. |
Definitely not 19 pages, but Justin Theroux has a little cult following. He has "tortured soul" energy. Correct that the only reason people are so invested in his marriage/personal life is because he's Aniston's ex. |
Maybe ten years ago, when he had a brief window of hotness. But now, with his middle-aged "I'm still so cool" schtick? I'm skeptical. |
