He literally said he would do this.

DP.

I think he said he would consider on a case by case basis. Many of them were not expecting him to pardon all of them

He called them patriots, and political prisoners and hostages. He said he would pardon them all. When pressed for details, he would say something else.

He said it. You just didn’t believe him.

I don't usually give to GoFundMe's but I gave to this one for Stewart Rhodes' ex-wife, who has been abused and threatened by him. She's sacred to death he'll come after her and her children now.

It turns out that almost 6 in 10 Americans disapprove of Trump’s Jan 6 pardons.

A number of prominent Republicans do too. Others have merely refrained from answering or defending them.

This will surely be the end of Trump.

Trump and the GOP are going to rue this in 2026.

This was my first thought when I heard about the pardons. So many of these SOBs were abusers and in many cases, they were turned in by people they knew. I’m so sad for the revenge tour of abusers.

I can’t fathom any of these people justifying the actions of the J6 rioters if they had been brown or Democrats. Then again they would have been shot on arrival.

Hopefully people armed themselves and shoot first. It’s not like any of these Jan 6’ers will be on Trumps radar.

If he goes after the ex and eliminates her, he’ll skate unless it’s on video. If it’s on video, Trump will order his prosecutors to throw the case, mess up something on purpose so that Stewart walks. Last resort is a pardon.

So end result is that Stewart’s loyalty to Trump, his commitment to MAGA, excuses his behavior. You could say Stewart earned the right to eliminate his ex. That’s a powerful message, rocket fuel for Trump’s paramilitaries.

Lots and lots of men would love to go hurt people Purge-style. They’re happy to serve Trump’s interests if they get to unleash on people they hate anyway.

OMG. His son. Heartbreaking. What a kid.

Looks like the FOP just woke up and condemned the release.

Way to go, guys. It’s not like Trump said he’d do this for the past four years.

The Fraternal Order of Police, the largest police union in the US that endorsed Trump in the last election, is not happy about it either.

JUST IN: The Fraternal Order of Police, the largest police union in the U.S. that endorsed Trump in the last election, has issued a statement condemning his pardon of the violent January 6 rioters.

“Crimes against law enforcement are not just attacks on individuals or public safety —they are attacks on society and undermine the rule of law. Allowing those convicted of these crimes to be released early diminishes accountability and devalues the sacrifices made by courageous law enforcement officers and their families.

When perpetrators of crimes, especially serious crimes, are not held fully accountable, it sends a dangerous message that the consequences for attacking law enforcement are not severe, potentially emboldening others to commit similar acts of violence.”

They were dumb to endorse him. This is a red carpet inviting MAGA to beat up police.
