Conjoined twin Abby Hensel is now married

Paternity suit against DH.

The New York Post reports that army veteran Bowling is the subject of a paternity claim by ex-wife Annica Bowling alongside another man, Gavin Vatnsdal.

Minnesota court records reportedly show a “genetic test report” was entered on to the file last month - but the details and results have not been made public.

Bowling and his ex-wife - who married in 2010 - have one daughter together, Isabella, and share joint custody.

The Post cites the documents stating she is their only “joint” child born during the marriage.

Also: from same article:

The Hensel twins share a bloodstream as well as all organs below the waist. Abby has control over their right arm and leg and Brittany has control over the left side.

If there’s a stomachache do they both feel it? If Brittany broke her leg would Abbey feel it? But then if one has a headache, is it just one of them feeling it? Where is that “line”?

^This is what I’d like to know, too.

…I do not want to know how they file their taxes like a PP said. 🙄🙄

I can’t help it. I do, however, hope that he’s a decent and upstanding guy.

Why would it make you think less of him?

NP but I am 100% concerned for them because I’m skeptical of the mental health of the man who made this choice—assuming he is a physically able neurotypical man.
I question everything about him. But primarily his motive. Which makes me worry for their safety.
Ultimately it’s not my business and I hope I’m wrong.
They deserve to be and feel loved. I just hope this is a good thing.

So if the husband is having sex with Abby, and Abby orgasms, what does Brittany do? Ignore it?

So what you’re saying is no mentally healthy man would ever fall in love with one of the girls?

I remember from an article or TV special--gosh, probably upwards of 25 years ago--that explained there to be a point somewhere at the midline of their body where sensation/proprioception switched to the other twin. In the article or interview I think it was one of the parents describing how the girls would experiment by running their fingers across their torso to determine where sensation began/ended. I likely have the details fuzzy for what it's worth, but that part stuck with me all these years and I know I didn't make it up completely.

+1. I want to like this for them but I would also be 0% surprised if it turned out their sex lives wound up somewhere on the dark web because this guy had ulterior motives. So I side eye him a bit.

Yes. And stop with the faux outrage. This is a weird situation and can be discussed.

DP And this is why I am skeptical and judgmental about his motives too. I feel sorry for Brittany no matter what though. I can’t imagine having that little control over my life.

No one asked my opinion and I find this disturbing and unfair to the non married one. And can’t imagine how they each teach separate classes.

They don't teach separate classes.

I watched these beautiful and brave girls on their TLC show. How wonderful that Abby has found love.

Abby, 34, is now married. According to public records, Abby, a teacher, and Josh Bowling, a nurse and United States Army veteran, tied the knot in 2021. The sisters also shared photos of the wedding on social media. The couple live in Minnesota, where the Hensels were born and raised.

The sisters are both teaching fifth grade in Minnesota.

I mean...obviously?

Surprising. I knew one was a fifth grade teacher in Minnesota. But I thought the other was a rodeo clown in New Mexico.

Omg THANK YOU. I am still laughing out loud.

Same. Why am I laughing so much.

I wonder if they receive two teacher salaries, or just one.

There’s no outrage. And it’s definitely a weird situation. But that was a bold statement you made.
