First thing I thought when I realized what IJ was doing - pulling from Kane’s playbook. Only Molly isn’t giving him a lot to work with on the sympathy front. He keep talking about how wonderful she was and it’s like yeah no wonder she left your ass, she figured out she was too good for you.

this! i was thinking the exact same thing. guess he didnt learn any lessons about karma and kane and instead is just gonna be ruthless for the $ and fame.

As a former intern, Riley’s latest podcast episode actually gave me some closure. When shit was going down and I would hear rumors through the industry I would think, “That’s not the Kane I knew.” I mean I know as an intern I wasn’t privy to EVERYTHING but… idk. Kane was a hero to me. Someone I aspired to be in my career. I’m just glad I got SOME answers to my questions.

Sorry you went through that. I thought it was interesting that Riley and crew said that there were big plans for Kane when he was in his prime and they all thought he'd be bigger than Ryan Seacrest. Sad how he lost everything and many around him just watched.

Was intern John acted the same way as Kane? I saw his post on Insta and its now blaming his x girlfriend for everything, seems like he trying to act like Kane. Did you work for him for one semester?

Does anyone know if IJ made a similar announcement when he and Laura broke up, or did he only do that with Molly? If he didn't, that tells you that he was trying to gain sympathy when he knew Riley was going to talk.

He made an announcement with Laura on air and on socials, but I don't remember it being a crying thing. He just mentioned that they broke up and he wished her the best

I know it is long but it was an interesting listen. A trick with podcasts, and especially hers since there are ad's like crazy, listen at 1.25 or 1.5 speed.
