What are your honest opinions of Camilla Parker Bowles today in 2022 ?

Yikes. That last picture. Someone needs to take Anne to a hairdresser. She was a beautiful young woman but looks like a Simpson with that hairstyle. Wtf.

Anyway, I don't really think about Camilla. She was a pretty shady person to have an affair with a married man, but he was shady too to cheat on his wife, so I guess they're two pretty crappy people who deserve each other. I don't know why that would preclude her from being Queen Consort. Last I checked it was just kind of who was married to the King, not who had the purest conscience.

Oh please. Camilla stuck around like a rottweiler for 40 years and then 7 years post his wife's death to get that wife certificate. Then their lackeys let it be known that Charles was miserable not being to call his wife Princess of Wales and wouldn't go into his reign without his 'Queen Consort'. Whining POS.

I'll give her her due - you never once heard her publicly, or through 'friends', complain that she wasn't known as Princess of Wales. She knew she'd be crucified if that came out or 'the boys' publicly came out against her as a sob story. Instead Charles treats his children as basically step kids, holidays and vacations only with Camilla, does the occasional photoshoot with the grandkids and that's only after years of begging, and has his mistress by his side. Kind of like Boris and Carrie Ho - have you seen his 6 older kids with him since late 2019? That would be a no. He even almost died and they were nowhere to be seen and for good reason.

This. All of this. Finally someone speaks sense.

[didn't include all the PPs because it was becoming too unwieldy and huge]

I admire her for taking a backseat, not seeking the limelight and paying her dues with her charity work, unlike the Meghan Markles of the world. She’s never complained publicly and has always been supportive of the BRF, even though they treated her like a second-class citizen for years and didn’t consider her good enough to be a marriage prospect for Charles. She held her head high despite being one of the most despised woman in the world. You’ve got to admire her for that, if nothing else.

As if she was unfairly victimized. I mean, wow. The only reason she was "one of the most despised woman in the world" is because she chose to f*ck a married man. And she was doing it while she was also married, so that's just fabulous. What a role model, she's like a forerunner for Wonder Woman or something.

And yeah. Obviously she's going to get treated "like a second-class citizen for years" - because that's what a mistress is. A mistress is not a wife. That's also why she took the backseat and avoided the limelight, by the way. Not because she's some humble Mother Theresa, but because she's savvy about PR and she knows the public won't be thrilled that Charles' aggressive, possessive side piece - the same side piece who bullied Diana during Diana's entire marriage - is now flaunting her jewels and her man. Plus, she was already an old woman by the time she married Charles. Would be in very bad taste for an aging mistress-turned-wife to now act the princess when Kate Middleton was already around to take that role.

I think you’re the only person on earth who thinks that Anne was beautiful.

Is it automatic though? Why was Prince Philip not King consort or something to that effect?

Because King is King, no consort. Then Elizabeth would become Queen Consort and Phillip with all the power. Royal lineage would then follow his family line not hers.

NP. She was reasonably good looking until even the time of her second marriage.

But Diana, too, F*cked married men, and also while she was married. So it's not really about infidelity since one was given a pass.

Totally different. Charles was cheating before, the eve of, and after the wedding. For years. Diana only had sex outside her marriage after Harry was born. The marital covenant was already broken by then.

It wasn't broken between the married men she slept with, and their wives. For all the venom DCUM lavishes on women who sleep with married men, Diana gets a pass.

Most of the Brits are not happy. Check out their press-- not ours.
