| This thread has taught me that MANY of you need to branch out from Upper Caucasia and associated NW locales. I lived my whole life in DC and don't recognize most of these descriptions. Try venturing east a little... we're nice over here and, apparently, more fun! |

| I’ve lived in DC now for 21 years. I’ve lived in various locations throughout the city at different stages of life. I currently live in Capitol Hill. I truly love DC. My husband and I talk about moving and where we might move to and we have yet to come up with another place that we think feels like it fits us as well (and I think we are moderately well traveled). All the negatives that have come up in this thread certainly exist here, but there are plenty of positives and people who happily choose to live here. |
