| I never do. I don't even know how to. I have thin, soft hair. Have shoulder length hair with some layers. I feel like the flat iron will damage my hair and hate the burning smell. On the other hand, I think I want to look chic with good hair too. So, my question is do you always style your hair? How long does it take? |
| Yes, but I have very short hair so it takes me less than 5 minutes each morning. |
| I have baby fine, straight hair that goes just above my shoulders. Usually I just brush it wet, but if I'mgoing all out, I blow dry it, using some bumble and bumble thickener spray and a round brush for volume. Takes maybe 4 minutes and sad that I rarely have 4 minutes to do so. I suggest getting a stylist you're comfortable with and asking for a cut and styling directions that work for you--eg no iron, given your time constraints, whatever. |
| If you call fluffing it up with my fingers styling, yes. I don't even own a comb |
| I comb it and put water and product on it in the morning. have long layered slightly wavy hair. |
|
So when you ladies speak of product...what do you mean?
I use nothing but shampoo.... Pathetic? |
| I do. I just don't have wash and go hair. I use two different volume products and blow dry it with two brushes usually a flat iron and some spray. It sucks. If I don't style it, I wear a baseball hat. |
| Yes - if I wash it I have to blowdry with three brushes (argh!) and hairspray the frizzies down. I can get away with not washing it for a day on the weekend. |
| I would have to style my hair --- I have thick wavy hair. Most of the time I wash it wrap it in a bun o ponytail and go. I try not to use too much product as it dries out my hair. |
|
Yes. Every single day. Blow dry smooth and finish off with a flat iron. I just did Kertain and that cut my time form 30-15 min.
I hate to say it but i cannot walk around a hot mess. I normally do not emerge from the house without a little makeup and a decent outfit. This is a no Dansko zone. |
| I didn't used to, when I had longer hair with fewer layers. I used to just put into a ponytail and go. Sometimes even a wet ponytail. I'm a teacher and attire is casual. Also, I work with mostly women so there's no real motivation to look good (I'm single). But now I have an expensive cut, shorter with layers. It's a good cut, and I can easily blowdry and style it... takes about 10 mins in the morning. I've received a ton of compliments and it's much more flattering on me. So I take the time to do it. In the summer I'll probably grow it out a bit so I can throw it into a ponytail with no short layers escaping. Long story short, it's been worth it to me to take the time for daily styling. |
+1, except for the Keratin (not sure my hair could stand up to it). But styling (blowdrying and flat iron) only takes about 10 mins for me. Only exceptions are if I'm going to the gym. I also have to wash every day or it looks really greasy. |
| I have an above shoulder length, layered bob> I usually blow dry it. I also use It's a 10 styling spray. A little goes a long way. On some days I just pull it back, though. |
| Not this year. I'm loving the messy, unstyled trend. |
| Yes, usually I blowdry and flatiron my hair, but if I spend enough time blowdrying it, sometimes I don't need the flatiron. |
