Sean “Diddy” Combs accused of gang rape of teen girl in new lawsuit

This is interesting.

AUSA: Until now had been objecting to exhibits, and turning over private correspondence of this witness - we have now sat through hours of humiliating cross. Mr. Steel has insulted this witness, saying things like "God Forbid" after things she said.
AUSA: One by one your Honor let the exhibit in. But now, cumulatively, we have reached harassment. Given the tone, we do not think continuing this is appropriate. She has carried herself with grace. This is adding to trauma, eyes are on this trial.
AUSA: Other victims in other trials will become aware of this -
Judge: I have not seen yelling. My understanding is that his "God Forbid" is an apology, not an attempt to intimidate. But the argumentative questions - is Mr. Steel here? - you're repeating yourself
Judge: If I feel you are asking questions just to ask them, I'm going to tell you to move on, understood?
Combs' Steel: I understand.
Judge: I don't see improper treatment here, Ms. Comey. But I will continue to watch.

When has God Forbid ever been used as an apology?? It means "I hope this doesn't happen" and in current culture is used as cynicism.

This is from the NBC update page:
One female juror was seen smiling, seemingly enjoying defense attorney Brian Steel’s cross-examination of "Mia."

Sometimes, the juror widened her eyes and furrowed her brow, appearing skeptical of some of Mia’s testimony.

Brian Steele had the nerve to ask Mia - Weren't you fired for drinking?

LMAO The audacity!

One thing does not negate the other.

If I were a juror, I would not believe her. Not a stable person, clearly.

Diddy's lawyers are definitely going at her hard. They have not done this with any of the other witnesses, and I'd be surprised if at least one of the jurors has questions, like: huh, why would she do this, why would she do that, this doesn't make sense, etc. I wouldn't expect anything less from Brian Steele, honestly.

They said they expected to be done with her before lunch, but it's been almost an hour since they've been back from lunch, and they are still cross-examining her.

Brian Steele is asking a ton of questions that are being objected to and the judge is sustaining them, meaning the question should not be asked. Sometimes the judge will instruct him to reword the question, and he won't; he'll just completely move on to another topic. He knows what he's doing. He's asking the questions, knowing he shouldn't, but it still plants a seed in the jurors head.

No one involved is stable! That does not negate Diddy's heinous crimes.

This is a good point, none of these people are stable.

They are all batsh!t crazy! So to try to discredit her for saying she was fired due to alcohol abuse when Diddy's assistants carried around a medicine chest for him (and cases of baby oil) is....? Bonkers!

I read a lot about people allegedly being drugged and/or blackmailed for orgies that happened during his White Parties. I thought we’d hear something about those but it doesn’t appear that is a focus in this case.

I was just thinking about this yesterday. Everyone seem to be thinking that some others would be named in that’s like Jay-Z for example, but it’s pretty clear that that’s not the focus of this case at all. It may be how they were able to get people to speak out And testify given the more narrow focused to take Diddy down and not the other.

Jay-Z also raped women right along side Diddy. That is well known now.
No it's not.

Yeh, it is. Beyonce’s mother liked the social media post when Comb’ homes were raided. In that particular post, all of the investigative details were released.
NYC hates that thug!

We already went over this a few pages back.

Since the defense was allowed to play the birthday video of Mia yesterday, the prosecution has asked they judge if they can play the recordings of Diddy telling his kids to do a birthday video of him for social media. That video is posted in this thread many pages back.
