Aaron Zahn, the former CEO of Jacksonville's community-owned electric, water and sewer utility, has been sentenced to four years in prison.
The CEO wanted to take the utility private, but he had an illegal scheme to get $40 million in the deal. 500 people also would've lost their jobs. Zahn’s former college roommate and mergers and acquisitions attorney Stephen Amdur testified that Zahn made that deal with the support of former Republican Mayor Lenny Curry.
