Additionally, am I the only one who thinks Kane may not be ok with her working a "lowly" (not my opinion) retail job? He does have quite an ego.

As to people who are discussing how an er would let someone go with a wound on your head...you would be surprised what ers let people leave with. My father died after visiting an er bc they overlooked some symptoms of a serious infections and just gave him antibiotics and rushed him out. It happens.

It's true that Natasha would be the one that would have to get the kids ready in the morning, however, it's likely that Sophie is going to half-day kindergarten (I'm assuming, I honestly can't remember how old the girls are), which means she'll be going all day by next year for first grade, so having to pick her up in the middle of the day will no longer be an issue. Her health issues did probably flair up in the last year, I can understand that. I was more making a point earlier to people who were basically saying that she shouldn't ever have to get a job because they both agreed she would be a SAHM, and while that's true, I would think a part time job would be feasible once both girls are going to school all day.

Sorry about your father. I agree that it's not unheard of for an ER or doctor to send someone home undiagnosed. My best friend's FIL died of cancer about a year after his doctor's office didn't contact him about his biopsy. Very sad.

Op here. I totally agree with the fact that the circumstances have changed and the whole SAHM situation won't be feasible anymore...but I do t think she can honestly make that jump UNTIL the littlest one has started school. Def don't think she should live off alimony for forever. Not to be constantly referring to different friends but I do have a friend whose parent divorced when she was 25, mom def thinks she "deserves" to never have to get a job and he should pay her 60k a year. It's not realistic.

I'm really wondering what the central conflict was that led to Danni's departure. She refers to losing messed up people but also losing people she loved that didn't have her back (I'm paraphrasing). Did she and the radio powers-that-be get into a final fight about her sick days/vacations/other job and she is just pissed that Kane didn't have her back? Or was Kane the main conflict and she's resentful John didn't have her back?

IMO if she and Kane fighting was not the catalyst she's awful for throwing him to the wolves over this. It's not his job to be an advocate for her, and it's not his prerogative to risk his job/livelihood in her defense. I don't for a second believe Danni would've risked her job to come to Kane or IJ's defense, even if she felt they were justified.

Either way, the thing is she knows that they (meaning TKS) are not allowed to discuss or make mention of her, so she can easily throw shade their way without fear of reprisal. As with every thing else, this is clearly a case of the truth is somewhere in the middle, but she seems to enjoy trolling them as well as the people looking at her social media tempting them with the thought she might actually same something of value and explain the situation when deep down you know she will not.

From what I gathered from the post, she was talking about Rose for being so close to her, visiting St. Lucia, etc. and then siding with Kane/Iheart to keep her job. WHICH SHE SHOULD HAVE. Just because Danni got herself kicked off the show does not mean Rose should have left in solidarity. Any responsible adult would understand that.

My vote on what happened is that during the revenge plastic surgery segment (that we know was Danni's last real time on air), Kane said something hurtful about Natasha, Danni got all "mama bear" and defensive of another mom, probably said something like "How could you say that about the mother of your children?" when she is obviously in a vulnerable place with apparently co-parenting so well and maybe took it personal, even though it was directed at Natasha, thought she had to basically defend ALL divorce moms (maybe who she referenced as who she had to defend), a big fight ensued, got out of control, additional hurtful things were said on BOTH sides, things that were bottled up came out, producers decided Danni needed to take a break until everyone reconciled, reconciling wasn't an option/just didn't happen, enough hurtful things were said probably to Kane where he decided to cut ties with Danni and influenced the producers to do so, IJ probably followed suit (I don't think Danni and IJ were on the best of terms anyway), and Rose is probably slightly supportive to Danni/might still talk to her, but she wants a job so has to go along with it.

I do think that Kane is the "toxic" person that she referenced in her fbook post today. Though Kane has clearly not turned people against Danni publicly like the post suggests, I am guessing that is probably the case within the radio station/radio world.

Producers probably decided to not announce it on the air because they probably realize that the listeners know enough about Kane's past with Mel and Sarah that a THIRD woman leaving might lead people to figure out the common denominator (not that we already haven't), but some PR person probably decided that it would be worse PR to say something than to not. In addition, they know that Danni would immediately call BS on any excuse they gave that wasn't the truth.
