Passage to India

Raku (make reservations)

I'm a Raku fan, but it is technically a chain. We go to the one in Dupont, no reservations.

Mussel bar

Mussel Bar is owned by the same people who own Marcel's and Drabo. And there is a Mussel Bar at Revel in AC.

(I like Mussel Bar but I think it is over priced...)

Mia's maybe.

But we usually end up at City Lights of China. Though we like the Dupont location better.

Yannick Cam has a new-ish place, Bistro Provence, that I haven't tried but want to.

Grapeseed.
Though part of a mini-chain, Black's.

Middle Eastern one whose name is escaping me.

I agree mussel bar is slightly overpriced which is why we go less. They may make more money if they were slightly less expensive from repeats.

Love persimmon.

Grapeseed or, for less formal nights, Freddys.

Guardados too.

Mia's (wood-fired pizza)
loved Foong Lin and Haandi, but they are gone now ...
Maki Maki and Aji Nippon both have excellent sushi

Tako Grill.

If you're in North Bethesda, Black Market in Garrett Park.

We have been disappointed by tako grill and found the sushi to be pretty overpriced. DW and I have sushi down to science and tako was easily $25 more than our usual meal and not as good. (We usually trek to murasaki near AU.)

I love guadardo's, too! Red tomato is nice and casual too
