| Which one for the Bethesda area? |
| I don't know which to chose but I will tell you that my mom ended up with them in a bidding war with one another and got a GREAT rate. So call one and sign up and then call the other and see what kind of deal they will give you. Then the first company will call and probably give you an even better deal. |

| Had FIOS and hated it. Thought I'd get revenge when we moved and switched to Comcast. What a mistake! I hate to admit it but I miss FIOS and their crappy customer service DESPERATELY! FIOS is like a silver Tiffany's lighter and Comcast is two sticks to rub together in the woods, in the rain. VERY BAD! The interface, the remote, the functions, the DVR, On Demand, EVERYTHING is MUCH WORSE with Comcast. I am so sorry I switched and am going to switch back, tail btwn. my legs if need be... |
| I absolutely detested FIOS and their customer service. I would not recommend them at all. |
| I'm in Bethesda, and we love our FIOS! Haven't had a single problem. |

Huge FIOS fan. We have the service in Reston. When we moved in they sent an army over to do the installation. The TV guys reverse engineered our overwired/oversplit internal cable outlets, spending the whole day just to ensure high quality signals to the sites where we had sets. Phone, internet, tv all have been seemless for us.
FIOS tv is expanding their line up in the coming week as well. |

I would never again deal with Verizon, even if you paid me!
During my entire contract with them, I never got a correct bill. Never once was I under charged either. They had sent me to collections for things they had adjusted off of my bill, had forgotten to automatically deduct my payment, and called me a liar when I told them that the payments had been coming out of the account for the last three months. After cancelling my service I was still being charged, and then I was sent to collections again. All told I filed two complaints with the FCC and had to contact the CEO in order to get things taken care of. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! |

| Because of the lack of customer service with Verizon, I would never again use any product they have to offer. I don't care how good it is. I really like Comcast. |
| We're trying to decide whether to switch to FIOS and it seems like there are no good options, particularly where customer service is concerned. We have had only infrequent problems with Comcast, but once you have a problem it seems almost impossible to get it fixed. Comcast's technicians are all outsourced; once when we had an outage, we waited for a week for them to restore service and the guys who finally arrived insisted that there was no cable connection into our house. We had had Comcast internet and cable for at least 3 years at that point so obviously there was a line somewhere!! They strung up a new line across a busy street, so low that it was knocked down within hours. The whole thing was ridiculous. So I'm worried to see that Verizon draws a lot of complaints as well. |

| We have FIOS tv/internet and love it. Custoer service isn't always the greatest over the phone, but we've had decent luck with the actual technicians (our remote conked out after only a week, but we happened across a Verizon truck in our neighborhood and asked the guy for advice since we'd already tried changing the batteries. He traded us for a new remote on the spot, so we never had to call cstomer support). |
