So Paul Ryan is at a tank plant that may be closed because the military doesn't want any more tanks. What does he do? Support the shut down because it's wasteful government spending to buy what we don't need? Count the savings! Defend the plant because it's defense and you can never have enough? If you answered "chuck logic, its a swing state! Blame Obama while justifying it with the aphorism 'peace through strength' ". You win! It's like Homestead AFB all over again, when we rebuilt a base scheduled to be closed, after a hurricane hit it. |
It's actually a commentary on Obama's general failure as an executive and leader, and pretty easy to understand. But don't ask the ladies of The View, they won't argue with his awesomeness. |
What, he failed to create a new land war to replace the old land war??? Well Mitt Romney can tell his side when he appears on .... wait for it.... The View! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/19/mitt-romney-view-appearance-october_n_1897120.html I suppose he's been on already, maybe the third time is the charm. |
Three wrongs now make a right? Come on now, Obama lies, our reputation cries. |
Republicans are so two-faced. You say that we have to cut the budget. Now a bunch of generals say they can't even use the tanks being produced because they are oversupplied, and now some schmuck who pretends he's the budget cutter is going to be committed to saving the damn thing because of what he said in a swing state. And the generals are not going to know what to do with these extra tanks but it actually costs money to maintain them even if we don't use them. Here, I'll make it easy for you. It's a union plant. Now how do you feel? |
You probably don't realize that we do export that shit, and once a line shuts down, it's permanent. Love to know the union's view. They're generally with the big guy on EVERYTHING he says and does, they cool with it? Me thinks not. |
A. If they had export orders, they would not have to shut down. B. If you read the article, it isn't permanent. The plant will spend about $400 million to keep operational until we need tanks again. ![]() |
