I view divorce as such a selfish thing. Your children will suffer from a lack of resources for you selfish pursuits. I don't judge people who are abandoned or leaving an abusive marriage. I do judge the whole "we grown apart" crowd who can actually co parent and live amicably. They ought to wait until they raise their kids to pursue their bliss.. |
It's impossible for an outsider to know what is really happening in a marriage/family. Drugs, alcohol abuse, domestic violence - you have no idea and it's easier to simply say "we moved apart" less stigma. |
Totally agree. Those are legit reasons to divorce. I am talking about people like my friend who left her husband because she was feeling "unfulfilled ". Or my brother who abandon his kids because it was all just too much. These people are incredibly selfish. If you commit to making a family you commit to at least raising the kids before breaking up and doing your own damn thing. |
Black jelly beans are the best jelly beans. |
Pure communism, where the workers own the means of production would be better than capitalism or what the Soviet Union cooked up |
I hate these stupid abbreviations like POTUS and SCOTUS. They seem to have become popular once Obama was elected. |
+1 I laugh internally and externally at people who are Apple slaves. Or really, any smartphone. |
Funny. I laugh at the sheeple who rush to get the latest gadget, disposing of their old, still newish ones without thought. Many of these people also claim to be environmentalists. |
I laugh at people who actually use the term "sheeple." Or maybe more cringe out of second-hand embarrassment. |
karma. |
You can get a bag of just the black ones at TArget. They are on display with all the Easter candy. I swear to God. In the Rockville store. |
Thank you PP! You made my day! |
Pedophilia and homosexuality are two sides of the same coin (think about it for a while before you jerk your knee) |
I am amazed at how people in the DC area take advantage of Au Pairs. They bring the girls into their homes as part of a cultural exchange and then treat them like nannies/maids. There is no attempt to integrate the Au Pair into the family. |
Lol. They are there to take care of kids and do light housework. What would you have them do? It's kind of the point. |
