If an entire region as big as DC can't field more than 1 team, the fact that there are "split" teams isn't the problem.

But I would love to know how the "competitiveness of the region" gets elevated by having one "All-Star" club team? Maybe they'd be able sell tickets to their club games on DE/MD summer turf and have younger girls dreaming of being on that turf? And hitting the wall?

For those who have done BIC before, do they eventually give you the combine results? I know they'll post the leaderboard, but do they also tell the girls how they did in each of the events?
