2029 Girls

what happened to that M&D DC parent that swore all the 29s would stay? I hope their kid tried out for other clubs and did not think that everyone was staying....I remember following along as a 26 parent and encouraging them to at least try out for other clubs for tehir kids sake.

Any update on what ever happened?

Hey, Mrs. 2026 helper! Not sure on the parent you speak of and their situation, but if they stayed @ M&D DC, everything seems to be fine thus far through just 1/2 year.

I could give you rankings, tournaments and games played thus far, but of course you know all that already and where to find it. Sooo... some players left, some players stayed, and each team has -- some players new to each other. Hopefully now they'll just both continue along and look to get better, and avoid outside toxic "help".

Read the first line again. And if you are Mrs. 2026 Helper, you are assuming there was one parent speaking throughout, with a call name "Anonymous". That assumption is no doubt 100% incorrect.

welp im Mrs. 2026 helper and I am not the other person who asked where did they go....but based on your response it seems you are exactly who I was looking for...I am happy that you and your daughter are happy at M&D DC. I genuinely do not know where everyone went or where they are now but was reading a different thread and remembered this conversation. Wish you continued success!

But I said whoever you might be looking for an update on, I don't know their status. So why would I be exactly who you are looking for?

i am sure this has been covered but what clubs is Capital 2029 Blue comprised of? girls from what teams?

9 to Cap Blue, 2 to Cap Orange, maybe 6 stayed. Some of the solid OGs

Doesn’t look like Capital’s Dream Team is living up to the hype. DC had better outcomes against some of the teams.

I don’t think you were at same tourney. Cap blue was 2-2 and MDDC was 0-4, same bracket.

No way these Cap Blue vs M&D DC comments are from parents on either team. The constant pitting of them against one another is tiresome and not grounded in truth.

And it’s done such a disservice to the competitiveness of the region. If the top players from each team weren’t split, the scores against teams in their bracket would be much better.
