| We were invited to a party, and I've been stalking who else is attending for the past week or so. Then it occured to me, can the host see how many times I've viewed it or the most recent date? I know they can tell when I viewed it before I RSVP'ed but I wasn't sure about after. I just don't want them to think that I'm a psycho. (although clearly I am!) |
| I think they can. |
| No, not after you rsvp. |
| yes. i can see the time my guest last viewed the evite AND i can see the day they RSVP'd. |
| Yes, definitely. |
Really, are you sure? I just did DD's party and i couldn't see viewing stats for people who had rsvped |
| OP here. I thought that after I rsvped that all the host could see was the actual date that I RSVPed. I guess I'd better just stop looking to be on the safe side. |
| well, i check my evite list frequently and i can see thedate ppl have looked at the evite and i DO find it a little annoying when i notice someone has looked at it 3 times, but not replied. |
You're right. This is how it works. After you RSvP, all they can see is the date you RSVPed. |
| I just went and re-checked and after RSVP's yes or no, I can no longer see if they are checking the evite - all i get is "sara H rsvp's yes 2 days ago" |
| OP here. That's what I wanted to know! |
| The host can tell you have viewed the invite. Does it really matter if the other person is going? |
| no, they can't tell if you view it again once you have RSVP'd. I have 3 active Evites (that I sent) and I just checked. You're in the clear. |
|
They can view when you first opened it.
I like this so I can be sure they saw it and it didn't go to junk mail, etc It doesn't keep updating your views after the initial opening. I like to read funny comments and check who else is comIng |
| I'm not sure now accurate this thing is. One of the guests' status showed up as not viewed yet, but she verbally RSVP'd to me. |
