And assholes are assholes.

The muslim extremists are responsible for their violence. But hey, provoking them while legally allowable is still pretty reprehensible. Someone might die in order for this publisher to prove some point. And that person will likely be someone completely innocent.

I'm torn. By law, we are allowed to have free speech and draw cartoons or make movies, but do we really NEED to do this. I'm thinking about the victims that this act will produce once again. But I also think that every movie/cartoon shows muslims exactly what they expect for themselves, but are not willing to give: Tolerance.

It is good to know that at least WE live in a society where free speech is valued and religious feelings do not yet have a significant enough role.

Funny how everyone is talking about "free speech" yet there is an intense crackdown on bullying in schools for young kids.
So the young get penalized in time outs for isolating a kid or merely some mild teasing but adults are allowed to make fun of others religions. I am so confused....God help our kids as they surely will need some therapy.
