NP here. I do not agree with the first PP that verbal abuse among kids is protected speech, but unlike PP2, I don't think it's stupid to raise the issue of where the line should be drawn. Defamation is not covered, conspiring to commit violent acts is not covered. PP2 can disagree with PP1 or say PP1's issue belongs in another thread (and I think those messages were there), but I don't see why the accusation of stupidity had to be thrown in, especially by someone who seems to be opposed to bullying. |
Thank you for trying understand where I was going with it. I attempted to clarify my post last night but then thought why bother arguing with someone that did not try to understand. Maybe I did not use a decent analogy or comparison but indeed my point was where do you draw the line with freedom of speech..., especially if it will only invoke violence from peoria who ate deprived of that freedom. These ppl that will protest are uneducated thugs that do not know any better. |
