Roy Moore the Pedophile

Doug Jones is well to the left of most Alabamians. He’d fit right in with, say, the Arlington County Board. But voters will overlook that if they think he’s a decent person. So yes, he’ll win.

Don't count on it. The governor, a well-respected female, has said she believes the women, but she will vote for Moore because the Supreme Court is too important (paraphrasing here).

I’ll paraphrase her even further as noted earlier in the thread... Party over pedophila.

So there is no crime these people are not willing to overlook so their team can win? Jesus H.

It is shocking to me that no one has filed a bar complaint against him recently. There were bar complaints that were mysteriously dismissed right before he fled to Australia in the 80s.

I really want to know what happened then.

The accusations raised his poll numbers among evangelicals and among men.

He... fled to Australia?

I have to say, a "scandal" has never made me feel sick in the pit of my stomach before but this one definitely does. I just think of myself at 14. Ugh. Gross. Republicans.

I'd really like to know the details re: that Australian hiatus. I know he said he worked on a cattle ranch, but I'm guessing there's a little more to the story.

This makes me side eye the polling. "I was going to vote for Jones, but once I heard about Chester the Molester, I decided he was my guy."

Republicans frequently accuse Democrats of using identity politics, but it sure seems like the GOP is 100% about the white male identity and privilege and nothing else.

Check out this gem of a quote from a pastor still supporting Roy:

"More women are sexual predators than men," said Raddish. "Women are chasing young boys up and down the road, but we don't hear about that because it's not PC."

--Frank Raddish (whose wife looks to be 20+ years younger than him) http://chibm.com

He's in our very own DMV working for Capitol Hill Independent Baptist Ministries trying to debunk science with politicians and show them that the world is only 6,000 years old.

Now I am a Christian but these guys... ugh.

Yeah, she said she was disturbed by the reports but it was most important for her to vote for the Republican.

Which is just the most disturbing of all. There's something in the water down there.
