It's literally one poster and it'd be nice if they were banned, but I'm not going to go back and report each one.

We don’t want to ban the crazy people sometimes they need to hear their ideas are just bad.

They’ve heard it. For weeks now. I don’t know if this is just a troll or someone is that delusional but it’s run its course. Time to move on.

12 month window - no one cares about grades. DONE!

They can’t accept reality. Obviously they know of some talented Aug kids who are going to be taking spots next year and want them to play up instead.

No, I just care about integrity of youth soccer. More specifically not letting GY idiots play down. While being accommodateming to college recruiters that want all players on the field during games to be the same grade.

Except it'll be more than Aug players that won't be with their grade. A lot of kids mostly born from June-Nov will be in grades above and below, based on factors other than sports. That's why it makes the most sense to have the 12-month window with parents empowered to perhaps play up an age group if the kid is good enough.

Exactly! 100%
There’s no way ECNL is going to force anything outside of following the rules of the 12 month window.

You should ask the administrator to see if its one person more multiple posting. We all know its one person that loves to cheat.

No, it doesnt matter.

They just want to scream the loudest.

It will be fun watching them freak out when Aug birthdays arent allowed to play down next season.

What is don't understand is how they think they'll be able to choose to play on a younger team. Coaches and DOCs define rosters not parents.

Yeah, they do, and they'll be following Aug-Jul -- unless the parent pushes to stay on the current team and the club agrees that's the best decision OR the kid finds a club that does.

They'll just shop around going from younger coach to younger coach looking for someone that will let them play down.

Its the same thing the GY parents do with holdbacks. They'll just keep looking around for whatever league will let them play an older player on a younger team. Once they find someone that allows it they'll tell each other on social media and suddenly there will be all kinds of holdbacks on teams.

Its the same thing private school parents do. Its the same thing home schoolers do. etc etc etc

See, exactly like I said.

They'll just keep shopping around until someone let's them play their kid on a younger team.

And it's OK! They're doing what's best for them and their kid. And no need to worry about GY, because that's not allowed under the new system.

By best for them do you mean by screwing a player the correct grade out of a roster spot and minutes because you wont play on the B team with players your grade?

But then you're maybe taking away time from a kid on the older team from the C squad OR other worthy B team players. Just stick to age. It's simpler that way. Leave the rest up to the parents to worry about anything else.
