| I am always exhausted (perhaps having 2 kids under 4 is part of the reason) but I am wondering if there are particular foods that are particularly energy-boosting. I don't eat red meat, eat chicken only about once a month, but I do eat fish and lots of vegetarian & dairy protein. I try to eat pretty low carb and what I do eat is all whole grains or fruit. Almost no processed food/sugar/fries/pizza etc. Any suggestions? TIA! |

Nuts, eg almonds and pistachios. But, I am sick of eating nuts, so I could use some suggestions as well.
I also occasionally will buy the pretzels filled with peanut butter. Note, that like nuts, you cannot eat an entire bag. But I find I am pretty full after eating a handful. |
| PP, here--also, maybe you should get your iron levels checked. |
| Eggs for protein; dates for iron. I could use other suggestions as well as I'm often exhausted for no reason. |
| Banana, pumpkin seeds, coconut water, quinoa, blueberry, avocado, and oatmeal are some of the energy boosting food I know. |
| Greek yogurt, eggs, cheese, almonds, almond butter. |

I have one kid under 4 and I'm constantly exhausted. Apart from caffeine, the one thing that gives me a burst of energy is a freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juice. Green lemonade is my favorite, with apples, spinach, cucumber and lemons.
Also, try increasing your carbs, and get your B12 levels checked. |
| The only things I've ever found to give me an energy boost are lots of water, smoothies, and green tea with lemon, honey, and grated fresh ginger. |
| Definitely add more poultry and beef to up your b levels. |
