Would you have a drink at lunch during work?

| As long as you consume a full meal with that one drink, it's probably okay. Depends on the person. For someone like me: not a good idea. Just not used to alcohol, so even half a glass affects me. Other people can drink a glass or two and go on to a full, productive afternoon. |

| For a special occasion, like celebrating something with coworkers or starting a holiday weekend early. But not just on a normal day, no. |

I do a couple times a year. I rarely go back to work though I just take the rest of the day off.
I usually do one around the holidays. |

I do it every once in a while- one drink only- with a meal.
Maybe a few times a year. I wouldn't make a habit of it, though. |

| Only when I am working in Europe where people think you are an uptight American if you don't have wine with lunch. Even Montreal is like that. Never do it here. |

| I really wanted to have a margarita on my birthday (at lunch), but my boss was sitting right there and I just thought it would be a bad thing for him to remember about me... so I didn't do it. I'm sure I would have handled it well, but just the impression it would have given just doesn't fit in with the buttoned-up gov. world. In some industries, it might be more common... in this city, for the most part, it's probably the wrong choice to drink at lunch. |

| In the software world, it is totally common to have a beer at lunch. Perhaps this is why software is so glitchy? |

| Once a month or two, when not pregnant/nursing, I'll have a beer at lunch. I never think it's a bad thing. |
