DP and I get all of that, but instead we have people speculating about divorce, eating disorders, abuse, self harm, and mental breakdowns. That's not better. It's not Kate's fault (I don't believe she had anything to do with photogate), but I wonder if she and/or the palace are wishing they'd been more transparent from the beginning. |

Have the conspiracy theorists considered that the reason why her face looks similar to the Vogue shoot is because she’s the same person? And has a go-to pose/smile?
There’s a dimpling in the vogue cover that isn’t present in the Mother’s Day pic. Also she’s wearing a hat, which would be pretty annoying to remove for a professional, let alone an amateur. Interesting and I’m not really getting crazy. I’m home sick with a fever and cold and this whole situation is providing me with quite a bit of distraction. In all seriousness, I hope she’s okay. She seems like a decent enough person and a loving mom and I certainly don’t wish ill on her or any of them really. I do think the chignon was of some sort of significance. She presumably wasn’t bothering with that to go to a doctors appt. or go visit her mom even if she has people to do her hair. |

| My original fantasy (in addition to Crohn's or eating disorder treatment) was that that she was pregnant, and had an ectopic pregnancy (that was deeply emotionally and physically traumatic) which perhaps also resulted in an emergency hysterectomy. I suspected she was then mourning not only the pregnancy but future pregnancies, essentially needing healing physically and emotionally because she was depressed, understandably. (Perhaps she was also at risk of sepsis and the situation was quite serious). BUT hearing now about the marriage and the picture fiasco makes me indeed wonder if they are separating or in a deep marital crisis. Reports of his drinking provide more fodder as well as the odd timing of reports whereby it was stated that William and nanny were handling school runs followed by close declarations that HER family was circling the wagons and doing much of the caregiving. Multiple things can be happening at once (individual issues, marital crisis, larger family dynamics...perhaps Charles is very ill and they are reeling as they prepare to take over years earlier than expected and scrambling, particularly if the marriage is also troubled). Intuitively, it feels like it is a troubled marriage which is deeply sad if true. |
