Thanks for beating me to this. Apparently we are the only people who realize that the footnotes in Wikipedia aren't just for decoration. |
The annals of Roy Moore
|
| Just dropping in to say that "fake yearbook signature" story is about the most pathetic, sorry-assed excuse for an "explanation" I've seen in my entire life. |
Oh that's funny. Clever, Mr. Wright! |
Admits to being a Roy Moore supporter, so he's biased. |
|
Between 30 and 40 people have corroborated the accusers' stories - classmates, co-workers, family members, et cetera.
At this point it's overwhelming. Apparently Roy Moore wants us to believe that he's the only one telling the truth and that the rest of the world is in a massive conspiracy against him. Add to that Roy Moore himself being caught in lie after lie about his own conduct, his false claim that Etowah County was dry, et cetera. Doesn't take a weather man to see which way the wind's blowing here folks. |
Not to mention he's been unable to categorically deny any of the reports. "Olde Hickory House" didn't exist, "I dated no one without her parents' permission," "I don't remember it that way," etc. |
He said vs. she said and she said and she said and she said and she said and she all (all corroborated) So, no. |
|
In Roy Moore’s firey speech today he claimed Alabama should vote for him because:
“We need moral value back in our country,” Not even making that up. |

New Fox poll shows Doug Jones up 8 points on Roy Moore

Need to take these with a grain of salt. The base republicans don't want Moore. |
It also shows the other Republicans who've been considered as write-in candidates lagging behind Jones I mean, who knows. But now we have several polls showing Moore in trouble. In a normal world he'd have been DOA even BEFORE being revealed as a predator but we are not in the normal world. (See: DJT.) |
| It sounds like Moore’s campaign won’t have the money to run ads. His only play at this point is to remind people that Jones will be as liberal as any other liberal Senator. |
|
Jones up by 8 points in latest Fox poll.
Note also that the surge in support for Doug Jones is driven by women, something I've been predicting: 1 in 4 girls is sexually abused by the age of 18 and that includes Alabaman Republican women, many of whom I imagine look at Roy Moore and think of their own predator, or even the harasser at work. Even if they don't say anything about it to their DH or male relatives, they are privately thinking there's no way in hell they'd vote for a skank like him because they know all too well his type. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/politics/wp/2017/11/16/democrat-jones-leads-roy-moore-by-8-points-in-alabama-per-fox-news-poll/?utm_term=.e0b64aff5494 Also note that Obama received a higher favorable rating in this poll than Trump. In Alabama!! |
I didn't know he was a Peace Corps volunteer...that is kind of cool. |
