I don't think the royal family should continue. Sell the castles (,I guess turn into museums, or bulldoze), liquidate the assets and pay done kind of reparations to formerly colonized countries. Give existing royals a lump sum. Be done with the whole thing. It's not goof or healthy for them (i.e., Diana, Harry, this thread), and it's not good for us (voyeurs).

Just end the pomp and circumstance.

Well duh. We had a revolution to unroyal ourselves.

The UK didn't, though. And they are a different country and a different culture. Unless you are suggesting that we send in the US Army for some regime change, you can't get rid of them so easily.

Anmer Hall is far from the City's top doctors; it would make more sense to "recover" at Windsor. I'm wondering if she purposely set up shop there with her parents to disrupt William's plans to see Rose, who has three young kids and live at Houghton Hall full time.

Nah. It’s less about wanting specific medical information— and more about a niggling but genuine concern for her well-being. If instead of doctored and fuzzy photos, Kate had popped onto zoom, surrounded by her kids — or not — and done a date stamped video wishing everyone a happy Mother’s Day, most of us would go back to our usual preoccupations.

This is all eventually coming to light. This is a legitimate source, and the truly vituperative coverage began in 2017.

It would make a blockbuster movie plot where Meghan was indeed selected to propagate some one world agenda and her conscious coupling with Harry was facilitated to create a young power couple with ingredients of fame, royalty, globalism, race, beauty, charm, pedigree, charity etc to cultivate a cult. Brexit was a planned move and celebrity billionaires who adopted them are part of the secret group. Things didn't turn out as planned and royal family doesn't fit in that vision so Kate was used to make it happen. A bot army would be an interesting touch. Seriously, that would break Netflix.

Is it really insane speculation ? What’s insane is doctoring photos and expecting nobody in the world would notice . Kate is practically a recluse anyway and rarely does appearances in public so Why did The Palace need to fake photos? The Sunday Mothers Day photos were not needed or asked by anyone. The Palace is the one who put the stupid return date of Easter for when Kate will resume public duties.

I was vaguely aware that Kate had had some surgery, but until 2 days ago didn't know anything else. Now I've read the bulk of this thread and am deep down the rabbit hole.
It would have been SO easy to post a quick "thanks for all the Mothers Day well wishes as I continue to recover!" on the official instragram account, and no one would have thought twice, outside the crazies who are always crazy.
Now... EVERYONE is talking about this.

They also literally could have just posted a picture of the three kids holding flowers or a Mother’s Day card and said “the princess wishes everyone a happy Mother’s Day and is so grateful for her family and the public’s support.”

They’ve already received their lump sum many generations over. How about making them pay taxes on anything held privately. That would be a good start. Anything that belongs to the “crown” should be considered property of the people, like the White House.

Just looked Rose up. I don’t know that I believe the affair. I mean, he could have just married her if he loved her, she is an aristocrat and would have likely been suitable wife. BUT…poor Rose. Her husband is so old. Why?? What was she thinking. She is 39 and he is 64!
